The younger cats were playing that look like it to me, lol, while my old girl was watching. It looked like she wanted to join in, but decided just to watch, then all of a sudden she was rushing about over all the chairs. There was a nice folded pile of linen on the chair and she just had to pounce on it, sending the clothes as well as her flying. She did not come to any harm, lol, but she looked at me discusted as if to say it was not her that knocked it off.

lol jugsjugs it appears that she is treated at home just like one of the kids, so she knew to give the innocent look. I agree with Mrs. Hatley she does not look 15 years old. You are taking great care of her.

My cat is 11 years old, and can never resist the chance to do fun cat things like that. I thunk he still thinks he's a kitten.

LOL. I hated to see my dog get old that passed away a little over a year ago. He got to where he could not do anything with his back legs. If he felt like playing around, he would also go in a hurry however he could though. I felt so sorry for him.

Oh sorry to hear of your dog's passing. I now live in an apartment building that does not allow us to have any pets. I would love to own a dog again.

haha =D Cats will be cats, just like kids.. WHen they see that other cats are having fun, they know they have to join in before they go crazy over it.. lol =D Cats are playful by nature, and it's in their streak. I guess she looks cute with her expression telling u, she's not the one that knocked off that pile of clothes.. lol =D Just like a little kid

So cute! We have recently adopted a female cat and her name is Crystal. At first she lived under the couch and was alittle testy. Then one day she starting bapping our male cat. It was a great moment. Now the male keeps his distance. She is a sweet cat and needed to show him who's boss.

That sounds hilarious.... Cat expecially have the"look" I don't know why. But if they don't want to do it they just won't. Dogs give them a scrap and they will roll over... I love both. They are so different but yet give unconditional love.

It seems that when cats hit a certain age...all they do is eat and sleep. We had a cat that waqs 13 years old.....she would almost look like she was going to pounce on something....then it's like Umm, no, I don;t think so...I changed me mind. LOL.
Our cat seems more like a dog, carrying things around in her mouth...up and down the stairs. It is amusing to watch.

This reminded me of our bull terrier who always welcomed us whenever we returned home but one day when we opened the door there were newspapers strewn all over the floor but our pet was nowhere to be seen. After searching for him we find him hidden under the sofa. Pets do know when they have done something wrong!

CHildren being children, everywhere there's fun, they will be eager to join in too. It's even so when it's happening right inside the house, with running and climbing. After all it's the house cats and your older girl have trust in them, knowing she won't be hurt by them. It's difficult to control such urge to join in the fun.

She looks really sweet, even if she did knock the linen over the floor.I love it when cats play, as they are so skitty when they do.It is nice that your older cat is playing still, even at 15 years old.Perhaps she was waiting for the other cats to stop playing, so that she could have her turn, lol.

Hi jugs, it's lots of fun to keep cats as pet at home. Their lovely gestures add and color the spice of our life. I experienced such pleasure before. Yeah, that time my pet Siamese cat was still with me. My son enjoyed playing with her very much. One of my relatives who is a cat lover takes care of her now, for I have personal affair to deal with and have to stay away from home every now and then
I would like to make some time and visit her if I really miss her. I'm happy that she lives a happy life with the new family now. You are fortunate to have a pet that has been with you for such a long time. I believe everything both sides need to know is answered with one touch
Happy posting

When my husband went to Korea the first time, for a year, I had two cats that I had left with my mother to care for them instead of moving them yet again and confuse them more. I sent money to her every month. Anyway, someone had shot my cat Bandit and he had to have his hind leg amputated. Well, years after that I saw him run like mad! And boy did he run! That little booger ran like the devil was on his tail! I was so shocked to see him run like that! His head was down like a plane and he ran! I got a good ole laugh from watching him! He was something else. He let NOTHING stop him! He went over the Rainbow Bridge about 5 years ago and now has all four of his legs..... imgaine how he can run now! lol

It's always nice when older animals act like they aren't. It just proves that you're never too old to have fun!!! You might not enjoy things the way you did when you were younger, but it is still possible to really LIVE!!! Have a great weekend!!!

Such a cute story! Your fifteen year old cat thought she was younger once again! Then when she knocked those clothes down she gave you the look,"I didn't do it"! I love dogs and cats do that when they did something wrong! I hope your 15 yr'old cat has many more lives!

We have a 15-year-old, diabetic, arthritic Maine (c)oon cat, and every once in a while, he will wake up and decide to play with our two 1-year-old cats! He will steal a toy from them and bat it around, or swat and them and chase them a bit, or pounce on whatever they are pouncing on. It is so cute to watch him! Then, of course, he decides he needs to eat, and go back to sleep. But isn't it great tos ee our older cats still having fun?
