I woke up feeling happy and quite blessed, unfortunately after a few hours my mood plunged to morose. I heard some of my friends are actually leaving this month with really good salary compensation outside the country.
I feel happy about their success, but I feel sorry for my own plight. My IELTS is about to expire, I hate my job and I feel trapped. I hate this feeling, any ideas how I can drive away the blues and self pity?=(

Think of me as a temporary relief to whatever heartaches you feel now. Then you tell yourself that knowing that even if your still stocked here in this loser place and having a really little chance of grasping happiness and contentment to the work place we have..you are still fortunate because first, you still find time to laugh and smile everyday through your experiences, you inspire the people around you like me because of your unique personality, you manage to become a mature and responsible person to your work, money and specially to your family, you share your optimistic views in life despite everything bad that came along your way...and lastly you have no choice but to think of me again...saying "P*&a to si nick pinatawa na naman ako!

Thank you NJ for this wonderful post. If only I can mark two response as the best ones then I would. I believe that one should always maintain positivity to attract good fortune, but as I am just human, I too suffer from momentary setbacks once in awhile. Thank you for reminding me that I have wonderful friends like you. That despite the adversity or unfairness in situations that I am currently feeling, there are always options like thinking of you perhaps that could brighten my day.=D

Just keep on thinking that always, always..."things gets better for your own good".
The world is round, sometimes your up , sometimes your down. In any situation, there is a purpose for being so.You just have to be sensitive so you will see some lessons you can learn. And then get on your feet and do something to make things better for you.
Nothing will happen if you dwell longer on your frustrations. It is okay to feel down sometimes, but after a good sleep, you will have a better attitude towards things. It won't happen overnight..just hold on there and your time will come.
