how to do you deal with a fake smile?

Just smile back :D if u keep on thinking what world gives you. you wont be able to catch anything. live ur life.. dont give a fcuk about what others think

Dot worry about it, just a smile, can not explain everything. How to face it will depend on your own understanding, but if you do not konw how to deal, maybe just keep your countenance or give a smile in return but at least not a fake one, if the fake smile hurt you, do not pass it on to others. If I were u, I would smile like never been hurt, it is the only way to get inner peace and trust from others. Keep a good heart to lean on, just smile.

When someone gives me a fake smile, I smiled back with a sincere smile. That is the best way to teach them the right way to smile. I will never give back a fake smile to the one who did first because that will make just like her. I am a peculiar person and I want that to be reflected in all I do and say.

maybe they did not give you a fake face on purpose. sometimes when i talk with other people and i do not know how to reply him , i dont want to keep sicent beacsue it is unpolite. so i have to smile to him.

When someone puts on a fake smile, it does not mean anything bad. It means something good actually in many circumstances. For example if the fake smile is encountered during a greeting situation, then the person has the best intentions to say hello to you but because they're feeling terrible inside and don't want to make you feel bad they try to force a smile so to make it easier for you, after all you wouldn't want her to greet you with a scowl just because she was having a bad day. It all it is also polite to smile even if you don't say verbally say hello, showing a sign of respect and acknowledgement.

The response will vary with different people. As for me i don't usually mind fake smiles as long as it doesn't really affect me that much as for example you just meet that person in the hallway, even when they don't feel like smiling they have to in order to greet you, that is also a king of fake smile right? I usually don't mind that, but for example when an enemy of yours sarcastically smiles at you in public then you shouldn't just let that go, and handle that properly. there are always two sides or more of every scenario, it depends on how you see it.

Well, I don't really bother giving them back fake smiles. They are not worth my attention. It is really not hard to tell if someone is giving you a fake smile. You just gotta know who are your friends and enemies. Never show any emotions as if they are just air to you.

They could be different. Some fake smiles are done intentionally between friends to friends when one of them makes lame joke while some fake smiles are given simply because the other party is not interested in your matters and just wants to entertain you by giving a fake smile. Well, as for me, I don't usually see these smiles but if I get one, I just ignore it too and live it. It's just a response, it means nothing to me, right? It's not harmful right? Yea, so just live it and don't be unhappy because of this

I don't handle fake smiles. I totally avoid it. When people who i knew talk behind my back and try to smile at me, i don't even give a glance at all. Those people are not worth wasting my time, not even a glance or a half smile from me. Call me cruel but that's the way i handle things. I'm good to my friends and i'm great to new acquaintances, but i really abhor those who talk behind my back and pretend to be my friends when i'm with them. So i just say good bye and look for a new set of friends.

I am at times accused of having my head in the clouds. I really do not mind the fake smile, I have a hide as thick as a rhinoceros. I just let it slide, though this is not for everybody. It would only matter if the person means something to me. On the other hand, if its really bothering you, then why not opt for a discussion with the people involve. That way you will appease your troubled self and will have a closure if you are just experiencing paranoia or there is really something wrong that you are doing with this people.

well.. If someone do that to me..I will not do the same because I am being fake and I don't want to be a fake person..If someone has to get a bad reputation from that won't be me! don't smile back..at least with a fake smile..give them a great smile and show them how happy and real you are...I know that in college people use to do it..but you don't have to be one of them! be yourself and show them that you can give you real smile for free!

So I was named snobbish because I did not give my smile easily to those not really my real friend. Sorry for them, I cannot pretend to do a fake smile. What you are doing is just right, they have their fair share anyway.

I really don't mind if the smile of other people is fake. The most important is you give them back your sincere smile. It will make you feel better.

Actually i hate these fake smiles and its very easy to understand when someone does fake smile :D But i make fake smiles also. Only when its important to make fake smile just not to make someone feel sad or to make someone feel sad :D

Ignore everything fake and concentrate instead on people that are happy and can express it with gusto! Or even on those that express it quietly, in a positive way!

I would not be hurt that much if i were you. I mean we cannot please everyone and for sure. We would encounter people who obviously does not seen to eager to be friends with us.

i do not respond to fake smiles. why should i when i perceive it as untrue? there is a glow with true smiles. fake smiles are just automatic ones and with no show of emotions on the face.

Sometimes we are naive and gullible and just see the good things in people that we fail to see what's really in a smile. But it doesn't matter anymore for me,as long as I know that I tried to be friendly or I did smile back at them,it is their karma if they got that kind of attitude. I am a kind of person that doesn't smile at somebody if I really don't feel like it. I would really show a straight face if I do not like a person.

Just ignore them! People fake smiles when they don't know how to respond to some things or rather most of them. I would feel bad myself when they are attempting to smile rather than really smiling? What's the cost of a smile? It can heal many wounds and can satisfy many desires. It can simply evaporate any other feeling in mind and give anyone or make anyone's day. Why don't people smile most of the time? A BABY SMILE AROUND 400 TIMES A DAY WHILE AN AVERAGE HUMAN BEING SMILES JUST 26 TIMES A DAY! I WANT TO BE A BABY NOW Cheers!

If they are doing fake smiles at you maybe there are something wrong on what you are saying or something wrong at you. Maybe they do fake smile for a reason. Also it depends on the situation my friend.
