Started this book this morning, read a few hours. Then late afternoon I grabbed it and read about another two hours. I am halfway through it and I can't put it down. In fact I had to force myself to put it down so I could log in and check on my blogs and sites.
Joy Fielding is a great author, I only found out about her last year and went to the library and checked out all her books. This is her newest title, and it's a great read. It's full of suspense and it really has me asking, what the heck is going on??
What are you reading right now, are you enjoying it??

I am reading "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" by Steig Larrson. It is the third book of the "Millennium Series" and I have enjoyed the first two (The Girl Who Played With Fire, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo).
Larrson was Swedish and his books are translated into English. Some of the words used are unusual. Words that would not be used in English culture. But it rarely happens.
Loved the first two books and am sure to love the third one as well.
Thanks
Zelo

I have seen these on Amazon and wondered if they are good. Might look for them at the library since they are a bit on the expensive side. Did I hear they are also making a movie?

I have read that trilogy too.
As I am sure you know they have all been made into feature films. I really enjoyed the books too but didn't like the films as much. Although it must be said that they did a better job of making films out of books than some have, particularly the early Harry Potter books/films.
At the moment I am reading a book by Ben Donald called
"Springtime for Germany or how I learned to love lederhosen"
It's comical account of Bens journey through Germany as he tries to cure his "Weltschmerz" world-weariness on the advice of his travel therapist.

That sounds great too! OH GOSH so many books and so little time huh???
I think that all of us that really love books can agree that the book is always better than the movie. I don't think I have ever seen a movie be better, my girls don't believe me on this. Whenever we see a film and I tell them the book was so much better, that they should read it, all they do is roll their eyes at me!
Thanks for commenting, I am getting a batch of great new titles to look for at the library:)

Wow I was just going to comment that I am reading Murakami's Kafka on the Shore. I've already read it but I want to read it again because it was so complex.
This writer just grabs you in and won't let you go.

Ia m reading a series of chocolate mysteries by Joanne Carle. They are really good books and I am on the fourth or fifth in the series. I really enjoy them! I plan to start a series by Beverly Lewis this week too.
I am hoping to study the Amish lifestyle a lot more too. We deal with them a lot in our horse and buggy stuff and so it would be nice to know a little more about them.

I'm currently readin Lord of the Flies by William Golding. It's one of those classics that i've been meaning to read for a while but never got 'round to. I personally don't find it to be the most riveting story as of yet and i find that characterisation leave much to be desired but overall it's not bad.

I used to be a book-addict before. I would spend the whole weekend reading novels of my favorite authors. But, I haven't picked up a book for quite some time now, being so tired with my fuul-time job. I just have to be satisfied with browsing through some magazines. I do subscribe to magazines, just for relaxation.

Currently reading the last book of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series by Kathryn Lasky. I've enjoyed them somewhat, though I think the series peeked and then kinda mellowed out. Afterwards I'm going to be starting the Song of Albion trilogy by Stephen Lawhead. I've read several books by Stephen Lawhead already and I've really enjoyed them all, so I'm pretty excited about starting a new trilogy of his.
