I an not very sure about other countries, but here in the Philippines holy week is celebrated by many, especially Catholics who mostly take the chance to visit churches, even hike us mountains to in us a holy mountain, and some would spend it with their families on short vacation.
What about you? Is holy week considered in your country, and if it is.. How do you celebrate it?

It's Holy Week and we are planning to go to Kamay ni Jesus Shrine in Lucban, Quezon. It is a solemn place for praying and repenting. We are also planning to to go up the mountain with 230 steps as a way of sacrifice. Hope I can endure the heat and stress.

My plan for this holy week is to fix and merge all my portfolio requirements so that I could apply a job by May and hoping that on May I am already working in a company again.

Hi, yes, I'm from the Philippines too. For the past two years, we always watch the play where Jesus started to suffer (I think it's called "senakulo"). But I don't think this year because of my parents busy schedule. Maybe we'll just stay at home and go to church on the easter.

Hi! I am a Filipino as well. It has been of our family tradition to come home to our hometown. We always have "pabasa" at our hourse. Back at home, this is the time of the year when people are up 24 hours a day. They plan on who is going to cook for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and midnight snacks. The whole neighborhood is like divided into shifts. :D
