3honor is right, maybe your baby needs attention. Try feeding him or playing with him for some time. This will lessen the baby's boredom. Only a few minutes of playing with your baby is enough to stop his crying and for you to work for hours. Not bad...

@KharmaKhameleon: Although you and 3honor has almost the same comment and you gave it first, I agreed with giving the baby an "attention". And not with the other things that YOU BOTH posted. I don't mind you saying to tape the baby's mouth shut, it's your opinion anyways. (Well, even if you're telling that it was a joke.) And if there's a person to give you credit on your JOKE, it's the one who made this discussion.

The best way I know is to first check his needs are met, as in food, drink, diaper. Then, soothe, hold, and comfort him, even sing lullabyes.

i am a father and my son is 5 years old already. it is hard to handle a 3 month old baby, of course because they cry and we dont know what the baby is crying about. but base on experience there are different types of cry. if you will listen closely they cry differently when hungry and different too when it needs a diaper change. a continues cry might be bored. you might want to put a mobile toy or a red balloon where the baby can see it. my child coos when he sees a balloon that i draw a face when he was that young. hope this could help.
