We got a major storm on Friday night, it happen according to the weather forecast. First, at the evening time, we had this pouring rain, followed by hail, which worries me the most. Since I have to work on Friday night, and my car was parking outside, I just afraid the hail might damage my car, especially the windshield. By the time I got home, the pouring rain started again for at least an hour or so. I was watching Television, and all of the sudden, the power was knocked out. Oh well, I guess it is time to go to bed. Until this morning, trees are tumbled on my neighbor's backyard, and traffic lights are malfunction all over the places. That just scary.

It is a beautiful spring day here in the UK. Cloudless skies, no wind and warm 70F 20C
The fruit trees are all in blossom and a week or more early this year so I hope we don't have a hail storm like we have had in the past - even in May - that knocks all the fruit buds off.
Hail can be so destructive to crops.
Hope it is all back to normal for you now.

ya hailstorm is rare in my local area, however, lately there some rare hailstorm too, beside that the weather is getting extreme too for our standard. When it is not raining it is very hot , burning hot , then it will rain like thunderstorm. The tree branches will come thumbling down and knock down electric pool.Thank goodness, the nearby neighbour are big shot royality family hence everthing is back to normal in few hours.

Power of nature really can rule humans lives. I have a table oil lamp, and sleeping bags as a good emergency kit. It's also good to have dry groceries incase you needed. Hope you'll have good weather.

I know what you mean. We have had some bad storms here also and the power has gone out several times. We had to buy a generator to use for when the power goes out from storms.

I hate those harsh storms. At least you're ok though.
The power cuts really make you realise how much you rely on electricity!

Storms can come on fast and do more damage than we think. When we lose power in a storm it is like a chain reaction of calamities. Last night the winds were howling fierecely and they are still continuing today. It is a chilly and blustery day. How i am wishing for warmer and calmer weather.

We have got natural disaster inThailand, too.
I feel like nature is trying to punish us :-(
Maybe it's time for us to change our lifestyle, and take care of the world.
Take care!
