How did it become so addictive we have never heard of Facebook until MySpace had started fading away. It's tough to leave Facebook alone since most people you find up their you haven't seen in so long. But i need your opinion on why Facebook is so addictive.

I guess Facebook is so addicting because there's lots of things someone can do there. I used to be addicted to Facebook too. Before going to work, I would check on my FB for new messages, new posts, new feed, and play games. Now, I only check it occasionally. FB is just a good social networking site and theres tons of stuff to entertain a person.

Well its because of the people you have talked to, you might get happy, sad, or any emotions in that social network. Especially now that Vacation season is on, and most of the students will missed their best friends in school, and because of that they used Facebook to communicate with them :) Well this is just my opinion :)

I think it is because facebook is more interactive compare to other social network sites that you can even chat and there are a lot of games. Here in the Philippines Friendster was the most popular social networking site compare to myspace and I think that site is more on for Americans. But here in facebook I think people had been addicted to games that myspace and friendster does not have.

HI there cyberfreak!!! I can say that facebook is addictive becoz of the games that it offers.I only stay long hours in facebook becoz I am playing zynga games like cityville and farmville. If facebook doesn't have this games it might have been too boring to stay in the site. Well eversince I started playing games in facebook,I've been online everyday and became very addicted to this site.I am spending more that five hours a dy in facebook just for playing this games.

I think some people on Facebook play their games like Farmville etc. They use all kinds of applications send stuff to friends and they receive it. You have the chat there and many people are on Facebook, so it is easy to interact with people worldwide.

I'm not addicted to facebook. I have some relatives I keep in touch with there.. but I don't go there too much. I might go there 3 times a week or something. It's just not that appealing to me. I have myspace also but NEVER go there.

Hi. cyberfreak. Welcome to myLot! I agree, myspace is no longer popular as Facebook is. Many people that are on Facebook enjoy staying on Facebook for many hours. Not me. I don't find this site that wonderful. I just come on this site when I can.

I still haven't even visited the FB site once. I guess it's a reaction to all the hype when it was first came out. Whenever there's something you just HAVE to join and can't live without, I find that I can do without quite happily! If I have to meet friends on FB, then they aren't real friends at all!

I'm not a facebook addict, I'm just a facebook user. I can still control being a facebook user. Some who do use facebook is a kind of abuse. The use of facebook is to reconnect with old friends and to be updated with what's happenstance on their lives. But some would update their status every hour.

I could definitely relate to this because I spend a lot of time in front the computer, surfing the net and visiting my facebook account. The reason why FB has become addictive is probably because of the people you want to communicate with. FB has helped a lot of people to reconnect with each other and meet new people. Aside from that, there are also other features such as games and it also serves as a means of online selling and buying. But we must also remember to use this in moderation because it's always nicer if we interact with people in person rather than in a monitor. :D
