20 Cash Surf Bar

I've been bombarded with advertisements for the 20 surf for cash site - it's a program that is downloaded and sits in the background, and you play 2 games a day, etc. On person that tried to get me to sign up told me he's been paid a few times from them. Here's my concern - I'm wary of downloading software that detects your surfing habits. I have sensitive data on my computer, like passwords for online banking (and I manage everything on my computer nowadays) and I'm simply worried about my privacy. I guess it would be alright if I had a "playing around" computer, but I just have this one laptop where I do all of my online marketing and financial issues on it. I don't think it's safe, but if anyone has any experience with this, please let me know, good and bad. Gormez Peer Zone is another site that operates the same way, just a software running in the background, and pays your money to run it.

I don`t blame you, It sounds like its not worth it. Lots of time those types of programs sell your information to third-parties... Which I think should be illegal , but when you sign up you basically agree to it. I would be concerned depending on what you have on your computer. Plus it sounds like it could install spy-ware and mal-ware on your system you dont need! I would personally uninstall that sucker asap...

Excellent advise. Okay, so I know this laptop here is safe because I never installed any of those kinds of programs. My husband's laptop I had Gomez Peer Zone on it a while back but I used Revo Uninstaller to get it off, and it has been reformatted some time later. so we're both safe. :-) I suppose if we had a "playing-around" computer it wouldn't hurt to test these programs out. Oh, and before I forget, Gomez Peer Zone has been detected as a fraudulant site by my service provider's security system.

I guess it would be like Cash Gopher, which I do not run either. I have a dying laptop, perhaps I should run a few things like that. I have no experience, but I think you are wise to be concerned. Maybe someone can tell us differently.

I found out the correct name of the program - it's called 20Dollars2Surf. I'm interested in it myself if it's indeed legit, someone's been pressuring me to join, and I may install it on Hubby's computer because there's no sensitive data on his. (I'm the one who does all our bills and finances for him and myself, so it won't take any sensitive info.) The problem is, I don't want to install if it's just majorly slow earning, either.

4 days ago I installed this 20dollars cashbar, cashgopher and gomezpeer in my laptop since 2 days ago, my antivirus showed many trojans. I cant find out which program gave me those trojans. I guess you should be careful.

I can say with confidence that it wasn't GomezPeer or CashGopher!
