Are you still watching Mara Clara?

This past few days there were times that I am loathing to watch Mara Clara just because of the redundant flows just like the script and lines of each character as what Mara is doing. At the same time I just find other characters as stupid to the extent that some of them are not aware of what other people is doing. Just like for example Alvira she seemed that blind enough to know the real character of her beloved known daughter Clara. Aside from that Alvira was the hated character from the first episode as a weak mother who can't teach her daughter properly. Sometimes in Gary's party of being a criminal it was like they are giving you some tips on how to be a culprit like doing something on gas tank so that it will explode the whole house. It is like if you are angry towards the person then this show is best for you. Another thing that I decided not to watch it by the time that it is frustrating part that you are fortunate if you are a revengeful person as Clara but if you are humble and good as Mara you will be challenged so bad. It is like it is better to be bad person for your convenience and being good would just put you down. It was just my own interpretation but then that is how it shows.
But last week I decided to watch Mara Clara again because I could see a little bit development especially in when it comes to Alvira's character that she is doing ways in order for her to find the evidences against Gary so that her husband will be free from the jail. She is now doing an actions for Mara's justice. But still I don't trust Clara's dirty tactics. I am still waiting for the payback time of Gary and Clara as villain.

Hi! metatronik. To tell you honestly, i'm really beginning to hate the Mara Clara series. The character of Mara here seems so pathetic and she looks so silly and stupid to me. I also dislike the acting of the actress here portraying Mara coz for me her facial expressions are all the same - as if always begging for sympathy that she already looks annoying and irritating. Everyday, it seems that i don't find any diffrence and variation in her acting at all. What i really like is Imortal. I find the story superb and for me, the actors and actresses gave all their best performances here.

I totally agree with you. Too bad for Kathryn Bernardo that she has given a boring character however by the time she has her supporting role in Magkaribal she was doing really good in acting. Here in Mara Clara it was like Julia Montes is shining here for being a super effective villain. Even if she is making faces or frowning she still remain very pretty or even attractive. 
I also agree that Imortal is really unique and exciting to watch that is always worth to wait.

Yes,i agree with you Metatronik. Clara who's being played by Julia Montes is really shining here even if she is the villain. She is very pretty and very effective in portraying her role.

I still watch it sometimes though but whenever scenes of Mara, Christian and Derrick takes place on the show - I switch channel. LOL.
And yes, I have to agree with one of the response here that the character of Mara has become so boring and unworthy - if i have to choose the Mara now and the Mara then, I think Judy Ann's portrayal of Mara is still the best.

I stopped watching mara clara. I don't like how the story goes anymore... its like the director is just trying to stretch the story... make it longer... alvira martyr effect... why can't she be honest to his husband instead of hurting amante that much.. Surely they can figure out other ways to find evidence... mara has a boring role too... christian, sometimes moves like a gay...sorry.. peace

I just totally find Alvira as stupid here then Susan as a martyr which is crossing the line already. Seems that Gary is the starring here so the title must be GARY GARY.

I think that original ones was way better but I don't like the fact that it have to be 5 years to end it. What I don't like is they keep on making it as remake rather than think of original story plot that is unpredictable.

I have not watched Mara Clara for a long time already. I think it has become too dragging and Mara is always wanting to go away and then be caught by Gary and then hides again. Very predictable.

On the positive note Alvira is doing ways to caught Gary in the act regarding the crime. She keep on searching the evidences but I hope this would be succeeded. That is the least development that I could see. But Clara on being harsh again to Mara and treating her again like a maid I am so sick of it. All I want to see is the payback time of Gary and Clara. At least to Lola Lupe I could consider her payback time by the time that Clara was being harsh to her. Payback in the sense that she was not been a good grandmother to Mara.

Better not to watch it and I won't recommend it. This is stressful in the first place if you would start to watch it.

Just like May Bukas Pa! the feeling was like you were enlightened to do good things and how you handle the challenges. At the same time this television series gives you inspiration and positive outlook in life. Unlike this one it is so harsh that will give you high blood.
