Have you ever feel being empty in spite of the success in your career because of the feeling that you are alone?

it's not in spite of the success in my career, but yes, im feeling empty sometimes. especially when my little achievements and show of love and care actions are either not noticed or not appreciated. all my life i've been hungry for my parents' appreciation. so that empty feeling has been in my life for a long time. friends are often there to care and drown me with their love and appreciation, but still it's different if those thing are coming from your own parents.
