Very busy at work.

I am an ESL online teacher and I really have many students right now. Before, I really like to sing but now I can't because I am losing my voice now because of spending much of it in talking during classes. I think my voice is tired because it is used most of the time. This is one things that I have to give because of work in order to earn money. I can still sing now but most of the time with a husky voice.
It just implies that when you are in the field of work, there are many things that you need to give up..
Just a thought.
How about you?? What things have you given up???

I am also an online teacher and I used to work in a company but the company was such a pain in the neck so I quit and I have my own tutorial now. I teach Koreans and having a homebased job is way better than working in a company cause you own your time and you wont have to give up anything.

You need to take care of your voice. It is also your way to communicating and earning. You must rest and have fun in with your work.

I have given up time that I used to spend online doing charity work, for getting myself some education. I think I am worthy to have an education giving time for creating a life for me and my children. I put most of my awaken time on my study, household chores, time with my children now a days. however I like to help people also. But I think it is my turn to invest in myself for a future.
However about your voice. If you do not know it, lime and lemon is beneficial for vocal cords.
