Being Broke

Why does it seem like when I have no money, all my friends want you to do something that requires money, and if I'm broke they act like I have secret money tucked away. I don't understand why people think everything is so cheap, to drive it is almost $4 a gallon, to eat out at nice restuarants it is $15-$20 a person, to go to the movies it is $7-$10 a movie, and I am an unemployed college student. It makes me feel worse that even my boyfriend is like "oh well if you can't do anything, I'm going out with my friends." I don't understand why some friends who I have covered numbers of times, wait till I'm broke and then tell me, "oh maybe next time." You would think they would be more willing to do something cheaper like stay in and watch movies. I guess my brokeness is not their problem, yet it still feels unfair.

Me and my friends are equally broke so I don't have that problem usually. I have been that situation before though and it totally sucks.

LOL, I would make a good friend to you right now then because I'm flat broke! Being a college student is tough!

this is somehow similar to my situation... whenever i have money, i dont know what to buy or i dont want to buy those thing that i used to like. but when i dont have money, i will have a long list of stuffs that i want to by. hahaha i totally dot understand this, but i think i prefer it this way so that i'll have more money to put in the bank. hehe

That is funny, I had a similar conversation earlier. I said when I have money I never have time to spend it, yet when I do have time, I never have any money to spend lol! I guess that is an optimistic way to look at it, just throw it in the bank lol!
