i never had one.. i am supposed to get a heart operation when i was 14 years old, because i had a congenital heart, my heart has a small hole on it, but my mom opt not to put me on operation, since the doctor told her that i could outgrow it. now i am 21 years old, and i never went for a heart checkup anymore since then, and i guess i have outgrowed it already. but i am still taking precautions, you never know what will happen in the futute.
Have you ever had an operation and was it serious?

I have had a couple - one for removal of the tonsils when I was 12 or 13 and another very major one for removal of tumors - stage IV pancreatic cancer about 9 years ago.
Whipples Procedure is what they call it and I am amongst the few lucky ones that was medically eligible for it and then have survived the mortality of five years.
I have stopped taking any precautions and have decided to stop the annual cancer check up tests to.
I have lived a fairly good live and am at an age which does not like any sort of encumbrances.

well i got my wisdom teeth removed a few years back. Wasn't really that painful but i guess i was just worried because it was my first time to get operated on. I got scared in a way i guess, and so after my teeth was surgically removed and patched up, i cried. hahaha.
Hopefully that'll be the first and last operation i experience.

Hmm... what I had was only a very minor procedure. When I was a kid, I was running around outside and slipped on ground covered with small stones. I scraped by knee and a stone got embedded in the wound. They had to extend the wound a little bit in the emergency room to get the stone out, and then close it up with stitches. That's it. I've never had any operations, and hopefully will never need one. =P
It seems you have no symptoms now, but better to have another check-up for your heart. Maybe it also contributes to why you are so thin?
