each time, i go out, they mistake me for a model, because i am so thin. having a thin body, is nice and fashionable, but i do not like it, i want to gain weight also. the i want to gain weight, but i do not know what do. i am eating alot of already, but still my body weight is still the same. and also when i eat too much, my body reacts alot, like when i am full, i tend to throw up or have some stomaches. this is not normal.. i also drink vitamins daily, and eat some fruits... my friends told me, that my metabolism is fast.
what should i do to gain weight, if my metabolism is fast?

I am the same with you, no matter how less exercises I take, how much food I consume every meal, my weight is always bellow 50 kilograms. Anyway, if your thin body is healthy enough, why are you so anxious about your weight?

I suggest that you eat often not necessarily you shoved a whole chicken in one sitting. Just eat every now and then. Find something to nibble. Nut keep in mind that even though you want to gain weight it is important to stay healthy. Eat foods that are high in protein and not just in trans fat.

Wow, you really dont hear that too much. I'm sure their are alot of people that can help you with this one, including me. I'm not sure where to start, but just to throw somethings out there. I would start with protein bars. Also, eat more meats. Try to eat larger meals more frequently, since you have a fast metabolism.

Hi, gaining weight is also my problem. I also have a fast metabolism that is why I find it difficult to gain weigth. So whatever food (calories) I take, they just burn so easily. It is very difficlut for me to buy clothes that fits my size. I am petite and that's what most people describes me. Would you believe that I always look for a XS size for my tops?
I just consulted a doctor to see what I can do to gain weight and to see if I have any illness that causes me to become underweight. I found out that I have Iron Deficiency Anemia and most likely that is the reason why I am underweight. My doctor prescribed to take in Vitamins plus Iron. She advised me to eat healthy foods like lean meat, fish, fruits and vegies and avoid "junk foods". I was also advised to take regular exercise for regular blood circulation.
You can ask professional help from a doctor so they can determine what causes your thinness and give you proper recommendations and vitamins. If you have extra budget, you can ask for a personal gym instructor who can help you gain weight through series of exercises. I, myself just started following the advices of my doctor. I'm hoping that I would be able to reach 40-50 kgs in three months.

Hmm... what is your weight anyway? And your height too, if you don't mind my asking... Maybe your weight is already right for your height. Or maybe you are really just the slim type. The important thing is that you are healthy.
Have you tried consulting a doctor for a check up? So that he/she can check if there's any problem with... say for example, your thyroid, lungs, or GI tract...

Go to the fitness studio there you can buy some gain weighters (I don't know any us products but they should have some) I think they should have pills and/or powder that you can mix with milk. Another possibility is to drink protein shakes. You can buy them in a fitness studio too. Its a powder that you mix with milk too. But trust me without doing some sport you are going to get fat! Try to make some sport and increase the number of shakes and pills a bit or even better you ask somebody in the fitness studio! And don't worry all this stuff is healthy if you don't start to drink 20 gallons or whatever :D ;) I had the same problem 2 years ago I was to thin for my age. Now I'm in good shape, sporty and just happy :) All I did was drinking this stuff for about 6 months and now I'm just going to the gym and drinking 2-3 protein shakes a week because I would loss my weight if I would stop drinking it. Collect some informations in the gym (I got a questions here...is it called fitness studio or just gym? sorry if I'm using the wrong one^^) and then just try it out! Good luck!

I used to be thin before. You can blame it on your metabolism but it will actually slow down once you get older. One thing you can try is add protein shakes to your diet. You should eat 5-6 meals a day. I know it's hard to do especially when you're working and stuff. What i did was eat my normal breakfast, lunch, dinner then added 3 protein shakes in between meals. That should increase your daily caloric intake. You should aim for at least 1 pound per week. Weightlifting will also give you a good chance to make your weight gaining a bit faster.
