What has happened To Google AdSense these days?

Going back about 6 years ago, I used to make around $400 a month on average from Google AdSense on my Blog posts and web sites. This has really decreased over the last three years to around just $10 a month. I have checked out all the new techniques for placing ads etc, but still no effect. Most of my blogs and web sites still have good page ranks and plenty of visitors daily, but no-one seems to be clicking on any Google Ads anymore. Another thing i have noticed is that with the clicks I am getting, the amounts are very small compared to 3 years back, for example a Financial ad would easily bring me $1 - $5 a click, but today I'm lucky if I get 30cents for ads on the same pages. Are any of you finding the exact same experience these days?
