Recently I was watching the new Alice in Wonderland, that movie by Tim Burton. And besides being a fantastic movie, one of my favorite actresses stars in it (obviously, because she is Tim Burton's wife).
In my humble opinion, she is one of the best actresses of all times. She's simply amazing, she can do every character, but mad people are her strenght, and it's a pleasure to see her. If you have ever seen a movie where she is, you surely can understand me, but if you don't, you really must see a movie where she stars, you won't be disappointed (unless the movie is bad, but she is amazing).

The first movie I saw with Helena was Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.I liked her duet with Johnny Depp, she made a great partner to Sweeney Todd.I simply couldn't believe how charming her dark character was.Then I saw Alice in wonderland and King's Speech.What can I say.She's intelligent, smart, talented.She's a queen in her own way.

The "several" roles are at the "Wings of the Dove, " which was nominated for an Oscar and Ophelia, Lady Jane Grey and Anne Boleyn, not to mention of Mrs. Lovett, where he proved that he can and sing, or, most recently, The Red Queen.
An actress with a dose of insanity more than somewhat normal people, and the thing that makes it incredible. For me, it is perfect match for Johnny Depp in the movies, I think both have a unique style and the collision of two great talents is always strong.

I have to agree with you there. She is a great actress. Very talented. And she works well with Johnny Depp. I hope those two continue to keep working together. They feed off each others energy it's so good to see. I think she's extremely quirky but it works for her. I LOVE her as Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter. As a big fan of the series she really paid homage to the character. It really made me respect her as an actress. She is also great in Sweeny Todd. I didn't realise she could sing! She has a wide scope as an actress - she can play any sort of character. Mad, quirky, shy, quiet. I think she will become a hollywood legend.
