White lies, Acceptable or not?

9 of 10 people lies 5 to 10 times a day. Actually sometimes we tend to lie without even knowing that we already did. Some persons lie to present themselves as good natured person while others lie to protect the image of another person. There are many causes why people lie. Lie is sinful. That is according to the bible. If you lie you are not honest to yourself but also to God. But im bothered with "white lies" is it acceptable? Is it acceptable to commit a white lie? Say your friend asks you if you heard the rumor that her husband is dating other girls. You know that it is true, but you dont have the guts to tell the truth to your friend. You know that your friend will surely act on this, that this could bring mayhem in their marriage. Would you tell her the 'white lie'?. There are many similar cases like these that you are forced to say lie. But the thing is, is it acceptable, a worth thing to do?

Sometimes people tell they lie to protect someone they love and care about but they don't realize that the more they do this kind of act the more painful it will brought to the people involved in the situation. It is hard to tell the truth but by doing this it will give you the peace and it will lessen the heaviness inside you .

usually one lie will grow to be more lies. white lies is for good purpose. first thing, we must know why the reason someone make a white lies, then we can decide is acceptable or not! everybody must have been lie, so dont directly judge or punish a lie people. it's not always close to the rude or bad habit, we must see it a real close. if someone lie to us for good reason, it's a signal that they care to us.

It depends upon the person who was being lied if the purpose is for a good reason or not. Tough. What if that person doesnt entertain lying even if its for a good reason..

Dear friend,
I feel there are two impact while one lie. It could give a better impact and also a worse impact. If a doctor lie to patient at times for betterment. There are also some people lie for trapping others. May be lie is ultimately a lie.

In that scenario between doctor-patient they have this rule about the patients right to kn0w what is exactly happening with his body. However, the doctor should be very careful in communicating to his patient.
