my parents are always there behind me to support whatever my decision in life. they are my guide to choose the the best or if not the right thing to do for me to take the track of success. In times that I need an advice there always there not to work it out for me but to push me forward and lift me up to surpass whatever problems may arise. I am now 22 years old, working, but not financially stable. I told my mom and dad that I was so thankful for teaching me how to be independent and how to play the game of life. Like what Jesus taught us, we should teach others how to fish by themselves. I hope there will be no selfish parents whom the only thing they know is to dictate their children in their own Benefit. Not allowing their son/daughter to what they really want to do. They don't even care if their children were happy on what they are doing. You? what kind of parents do you have?

My father is very generous and sincere. He always has everyone else's interests in mind. My mother might be the opposite. She always forces me to do things that I don't enjoy- but I think she is thinking about my future and truly wants me to succeed in life. The problem is, sometimes success in her eyes is different from success as I imagine it. I can appreciate that she wants me to be happy in her own way, but I wish she could adapt her parenting methods to my own goals.
I have friends whose parents did not care at all, so I can't say I'm completely unhappy with what my parents do.

My parents are one in a million a like. I love my parents very much. My parents always support me in each and every decision, they always try to show me the truth and the right path in life. At times i get stubborn cause i want to see things in my way.. at times my parents get wrong but after all it your parents who have supported you in times of difficulties. We cant just forget all the lovable moments for one hatred movement.. I love my parents very much thought they become possessive and harsh sometimes but still i love them very much.

My parents always instilled discipline in all of their children. Growing up, I had to abide by rules in the house. They taught us to work and study hard to succeed in life. If there is one thing I would have wanted from my parents, it's friendship and openness. But I understand that it's the best way they knew how to raise kids. The challenge is to be better parents to our own kids.

I have a loving parents.
My father when we were younger , was a strict father. He would whip us on our butt when we quarrel or do something very wrong. But he loves us so much, because he worked hard to provide us all the things we need. He sent us to schools of our choice.
My mother is a hard working one. She's a stay at home mother. She cooks our meals and attend to all our needs. Though we have a maid to help in the house, she would do the cooking so that we will always have delicious meals.
Now that they are retired and old, they are there at home with some of my siblings and their grown up kids. At least, my siblings could attend to them now.

My parents are always supportive. They care care of me very well. My mother always cook me something to eat. Because of her I became fat. My father always gives me money whenever I ask him. he never says no to me. Both of them listen patiently to the words of me and give me suggestions accordingly. Without their support I am not there.

I was an only child. I lived in the time of children should be seen and not heard LOL
My father worked, mother stayed home.
I started working as a nurses aide at age 15 to be out of the house to get away from my parents.
My story is a very hard and long one.
It took me many years to understand why I was raised like I was.
Both my parents have passed and I am finally able to see some peace. Thats sad to say but everyone deserves a little peace in their life.
I am glad you had a good mother and father.
I was always doing things with my children to make sure I was not like my parents.
You know you did right when your 21 year old son comes home and hugs you. Its a nice feeling!
