Yes, thanks to JKK Tolkien. Did you know that he wrote the book as letters to his own kids? The guy is amazing, a great human being, wonderful imagination and changed the way we look at fantasy. Or better yet, he created the genre.

I had a lord of the rings movie marathon a month ago, this movie is one the best movie of all time. What makes this movie wonderful is I guess because of how the book was created perfectly by Tolkien. I'm looking forward watching The Hobbit the movie.

This is definitely one of the best movies I have seen.The cinematography is simple breath taking.Aside the actors too have potrayed their characters to utmost perfection.Infact I had read the book first but still I enjoyed the movie even better.All said the movie is also a great lesson in terms of having self control,patience and ofcourse refraining from being power greedy.

i really agree with you. the trilogy has brought the world a complete cinematic experience. no wonder they won a lot of oscars. and think of it, the return of the king ranks 3rd in all-time world box office!
