The biggest challenge in 21st century is to lead a better and relaxed life. Life is getting complicated due to lack of its right knowledge. life is a natural process. But a lot of artificial lifestyle practices, beliefs, faiths and status - consciousness have got into the process which makes life complicated. Many diseases like cancer, heart attacks, blood pressure etc., are found to be vey common diseases these days. In addition, many unknown diseases have been appearing. The medical science is baffled and finds it challenging to combat such diseases. Strained relationships are another casuality. The suicide rates, depression cases, divorce cases, and litigations of multifarious kinds are increasing. There is a mad race to amass wealth by hook or crook. There is a tough competition. There is an urge to scuttle with and shuttle to plum posts and positions of authority to become the owner of the world and to control and rule over the people of the world. In the process, there is a lot of mental stress and strain which make the mind sick. While doing so, one has forgotten to live. The number of people who have forgotten to live is increasing enormously. There is no life without problems. But how we look at the problem makes all the difference. We can never eliminate problems and enjoy life. Problems are an integral part of life.
Therefore, the root cause of these diseases is the mental ailments due to tension and stress. Many people do not know how to be relaxed in life. They are always tensed. Life being a natural event, it is always enjoyable only when one is relaxed. The natural nature of life is always being relaxed.

Hi there Mallu. We can somehow eliminate the problems in life by thinking and doing things simply. If we try to do things in a complicated way, all the more that life's complex seeps in. When it comes to our eating habits, why don't we subsist more on fish and vegetables and we exercise, to get rid of the unwanted cholesterol, in our body. There is so much things we think of, that we have burdened ourselves of problems which are making us stressed out.

Hi mallu
No way, there are many ways to eliminate the problems and never get at crossroads with them. But the point is who is willing to give up everything? Hardly anyone. All your problems are because of desires and wants 99.9% materialistic. Cut them and you would be a happier soul

I think this is virtually impossible to do! There will always be problems in life, it's a sad fact but I think it's the truth. We could be multimillionaires and have everything we ever wanted and there would still be problems, they would creep up around every corner! We could also be at the bottom end of the spectrum in terms of poverty and have a multitude of different problems.
So, on that note I'm then thinking that it's our attitude towards life and how we deal with our problems that count. I think it's important to focus on relaxation on a regular basis and for me this involves regular meditation practise in the mornings. I have breakfast and then I meditate for an hour and this certainly leaves me feeling great deep inside. I then go about my day and any problems that come my way I deal with immediately so that the problem or problems don't begin to fester and grow in size!
I think what you say is key, attitude to life is very important. I always struggled with attitude but thankfully I have been doing a lot of reading on this very subject and I have to admit it's beginning to help me and I feel a lot better about tackling my problems. Andrew

It would be wonderful and inspring but i don't think it is practical thinking. We are always going to have some kinds of problems to cope with throughout our lives. i believe that the way we choose to handle our problems gives us the level of relaxation we are able to feel. some can bve almost carefree about their problems while other people let problems bog them down to where they are completely stressed out.

Problems are part of our life but it doesn't mean that you can't relax.Problems give us the reason to be strong with our faith and with our life. How will we be able to learn about life if we don't experience such problems.

We cannot simply eliminate problems, but we can if we solve it. It is a challenge on how we will solve it or how we can simply live with it in a positive way.

Life is what you make of it :)
If you even make one thing that you like that will ease you even if you cant feel.
and if you wanna relax for real than you should get a good night sleep :)

I like the idea of being relaxed and enjoy life even though one is facing a problem. I agree on what you say that even though there are a lot of problems that we encounter everyday we can still enjoy life as long as we relaxed. Sometimes stress can be helpful towards being productive if you learn how to manage it well. Sometimes it makes you work more efficiently but you need to relax firts before you can learn to manage it very well.
