I think you are in the right way, learning from youtube and from how to draw and practice, the other important thing is Talent, But you you need to burn with talent and you can't change it, so all you can do is practice and a lot, and try to do it in a fun way and don't force yourself..
I learned to draw at high school, i was listening to teachers and drawing on my notebook or on the table :)

My suggestion is to go out to the library and borrow any pencil drawing book from Lee Hammond. She uses a grid and shading method which I have found to be very structured and motivating. You can see in one of the discussion threads how one of the lotter took my advice and improved. Hope you will not worry too much about the results but enjoy the process...the creative process.
Have fun. Post your picture here for the rest of us.
All the best!

well i am not that good in drawing and i really like to learn how. There are some tutorials or tips in the internet that you can look. there is also one in youtube if i can remember.
There are also some learn how to draw books in our bookstores but they are mostly manga/anime but they do teach you the basics.

I'd say you are off to an excellent start because finding tutorials on your own shows a self-motivation.
Drawing is difficult, especially when it comes to the human form.
Your best option is to get some professional instruction, but I know that can be expensive. A slightly cheaper option is online (paid) instructional schools, some of these are very good, but do research before just diving into the first school you find.
Purchasing some books, or e-books, is often useful because you can go back and look at them anytime you get stuck.
Another option, depending on how dedicated you are, is to find an artist that is willing to take an apprentice on. You can do stuff for them, such as running errands or cleaning the studio, and in return they will give you some free art lessons (normally, how this works is they will let you sit in on their classes for free).
Hope this helps! :)

try to use some imagination and copy everything you see. this way, you can practice. there's no perfect art. you have your own style of drawing and use this to express yourself. each artist creates their own unique art which has different effects on the people who look at them.

I don't think there's a right or wrong way of learning how to draw. In fact, you're actually approaching this the better way. Practicing everyday is the key, and if you're too busy, as often as you can. I've been drawing for three years and I still feel like my drawings still look like doodles.
For practice, you can start with still life. Take a few things around the house, arrange them somewhere with good lighting and draw them as you see them. If you're more into cartoons, you can put a picture of your favorite character (or someone you think might be up you're alley to draw) in front of you and sketch away. This is how I started drawing.
Everyone has their own way to go about things, so you can start with whatever makes you comfortable. If you like scenery better, you could probably go to the local park or somewhere where it's not too noisy and sketch away. If you want to draw people, you can ask a good friend to be a model for you. (Make sure it's a REALLY good friend who would support your hobby and who you wouldn't be too offended by if they teased you and your sketch. XD)
Lastly, have confidence. Perhaps you underestimate your own drawings too much. If you can look at your works and tell yourself a good job, it would really help your drive to draw more and get better. You don't need to be too critical with yourself. Just draw. Before you know it, your drawings will be living up to your expectations.
I hope this helps and good luck.

The best way to draw is by imitation.
You should lean how to draw by copying other drawings or pictures.
Look at pictures and try to copy them. Look at things in a different ways and see them as shapes. Also, look at references when drawing so you know what something looks like.
I am in high school and I am taking a drawing class there where we have to make a "Master Copy" of a drawing that looks pretty hard but by doing it everyday, I have made much improvement and I am able to draw with out even having to look at references.
