cat caring for itself

hello people :) Well i have a very intresting cat . We got her from the street 2 years ago . The intresting thing is that she doesnt eat from her bowl she likes to eat from the box , and when we hide the box she meows at us to ive her the box . She also runs around a lot and tries to catch our legs and probably make us fall . How can i stop her from getting the box of cat food? she doesnt like to eat from her bowl ? Does anyone have some advice i can use?
