So I have been making these bunny cookies that are covered in shredded coconut to look like a fuzzy bunny. My husband has asked if I could do this with out the coconut this year becasue he likes the cookies but not the coconut. Any Ideas as to what I can use to make them "fuzzy" with out coconut?
Oh yeah they are a thick sugar cookie.

Thick sugar cookies sounds delightful and I can see why your hubby likes them so much. Why can't you just make a dozen without anything on them for him and the rest for the kids? Maybe decorate for the manly men and the rest for the kids. That sort of thing. Us grown ups need something fun and tasty too.

Sounds fun! Everyone should have some of what they like. I can't believe it is already upon us.

Actually it's the kids who want to make them for Daddy. I was just going to ignore him..lol I am making him a cheesecake as well (his favorite) for the holiday. They want them cute. I will probably make some with the coconut because they are what I like

I have the same problem because my husband hates coconut, but all the cute Easter recipes call for coconut. I have been thinking about this for a long time. I am trying to think of something I can put in melted white chocolate (Shredded wheat or licorice or some other cereal or candy??) add some green food coloring, and spread on the cupcakes or cookies. I can't think of anything that will taste better than coconut without overpowering the recipe. I don't know, I just honestly wish my husband liked coconut!
