Which sounds better?

In a single day which one of the following scenarios seem to be a better thing to happen or neither. 1.Killing a pig for a festival but the method used to slaughter it is old school/barbaric. or 2.Slaughtering hundreds of pigs for the convenience of people but the method used is humane. Should animals be killed more if the slaughter process is humane? or does it not matter if they are going to die anyway?

Both will give the same results, whatever the option we choose. But I prefer when the process is humane.

hi, now a days pigs are to be eaten by human, and they killed a lot of pigs everywhere in the world with the process of humane, except to those places where they respect that animal.

I walked past an abattoir once and as I walked past it I could hear hundreds of peaks screaming for their life as they were sent to be killed in this automated machine. The echoing screams still ring in my head and it was definitely horrible sound. We really need to respect animals and be grateful that they exist to be our food. I think animals deserve to be slaughtered humanely,

For me, I do not really like the fact in slaughtering animals. I am a Christian, but I rarely eat pigs, I just don;t like the taste. But if I were to choose between no. 1 and no. 2, I would go for no. 1. It sounds better for me, than imagining killing hundreds of pigs in a humane way. It's still an act of murdering you know. I'm not sure if it really matters if they'll die. If I were a pig, I'd definitely will not know anything about the life of a human!
