My friends say their house is haunted!

Its funny or a coincidence that you have posted this discussion today because i saw my 'resident friendly spirit'just last night standing next to my bed late at night. I have been having his company since the last 15 years and he always makes his presence felt late in the night. Whenever he appears my eyes suddenly open even if i am in deep sleep and i see him standing next to my bed lloking down at me.As soon as he realizes that i am looking at him he vanishes.Sometimes he vanishes immediately and sometimes diffuses gradually.He is usually in white colored clothes but i can`t see his face as it is black.He has never harmed me therefore i am not scared of him.As you may be knowing that the IPL T20 cricket matches are being held in my country,India late in the evening.Since the last few days as i watch the matches on TV with the room lights switched off i suddenly see his figure standing near the bed but looking in the direction of the TV.Well this spirit seems to be a cricket fan.Then late at night, early this morning somewhere around 1.30 am my eyes suddenly opened and in a flash i saw him standing very close next to my bed and leaning over me with his arms spread out sideways. I saw him for about 5 to 6 seconds, then he vanished. I started repeating the name of God and then all of a sudden the phone,next to my bed started ringing.I picked it up but it got disconnected. So you see i am now living with a spook in my bedroom.I do not know why he is honouring me with his presence but it amuses me that i have his company as long he does not bother me.

A while back, I returned to this state and went to live with my dad. My mum had passed just over 2 years previously. There were no doors or windows open this day and the weighted curtain cord began to sway. No draught or anything. Thoughts of mum immediately popped into my head...that she was letting me know that she was there or something. The only thing is that Mum did not believe in that sort of thing so I don't know.

Hi, moonchild1au. Ohhh, this is very creepy here! I have never experienced this much of paranormal activity that is so very obvious. It seems like this spirit is trying to communicate with them before they move out. I know that after experiencing these strange paranormal activities, they will be relieved to move away from this haunted house. I know that I would, if it were me!

I was raised in a house bombarded with ghost and I'm telling you, they were harmless if you wont mind them. some of them are even trying to hide things when you need them the most. They even tried whispering stuff on my ears or touching me at night in able to scare the heck out of me. Before they scare me but I get to the point I can sleep with the lights off againt, not having to worried about them showing up.

I've experienced strange activity many times, although, in this case I'd say your friends might be messing with you. Most people that get freaked out don't take a picture, they clean up the mess and pray it's their imagination. However, that doesn't mean they are playing a joke on you, it could be that they are really freaked out. The only way to know for sure is to experience something yourself. I'd say stay over at that house for a few nights (if your friends haven't moved out yet) and see if something happens. Personal experience is normally the best evidence.

Happens to me all the time. I dont find them scary, but I will admit there have been som "odd" instances that have creeped my husband out. LOL...

No I have never experienced anything like this. But like you say as long as this wasn't a joke. It's really spooky. It would be hard to stay n a house like that.I don't think I would be comfortable anyway.
