I think that windows xp is a good operating system and there are a lot of people still using windows xp. I personally use windows vista now but that's just a personal choice of mine, I don't think I will be moving towards windows 7 just yet. I think a lot of businesses are still using windows xp as their primary operating system but in time this may change and they may go directly on to windows 7.
I think as long as Microsoft are still supporting xp then it's ok to remain on this operating system but the moment they say that they are no longer going to offer updates and things like that, this could be very troublesome and then it would definitely be time to think about moving towards the next Operating system in the line whether it be vista or windows 7. I have a friend who I support and he still uses xp, it's just nice to look at and it tends to be trouble free, just as long as you maintain it on a regular basis. Andrew

I am satisfied with Windows XP and currently I still use it. I don't want to upgrade it to Windows 7 or so on. Because I think it is so troublesome to install the software again. As long as my current operating system works well, I don't have a plan to change it.
I love China

I use windows 7, but I do prefer XP. I think that microsoft, although a leading company in the industry, is not what it used to be, think of windows internet explorer, it sucks.

well xp is one of the best operating system windows has come out of. But unfortunately they have stopped production and support of xp more than a year ago and we will only see this one in torrents.
Its really one of the few os that i can tweak by myself without suffering any bugs or errors.

When Windows XP was released by microsoft in the year 2001, it was the then most secure, and best compatible operating system. But as operating systems evolved to better standards of security, performance and features, windows failed to keep up with them. When the very hyped windows vista was released long after, it wasn't rated even as the second best operating system. AS in the early and mid 2000s Windows XP was by far the most popular and most used operating system, people started to write games and softwares best compatible with windows XP. This makes Windows Xp the best compatible OS even now (arguably)... Windows XP stands out as the most compatible platform but has become outdated by far...

I have had computers since windows 3.1 and I have had alot of operating systems like 95,98,Me,2000 and I found that windows XP is by far the best operating system available. I haven't tried 7 yet so I am no judge there. It is user friendly and It sould stay around for years. It seems to me that windows keeps getting better with age.

I'm very familiar with the xp cause i've had it since '02 but now i have windows 7 and for me it seems better in all the compartiments.. 7 it's not the future, it's the present.. it will be a day when 7 will take the place of xp in the junkyard..
