Who is the most promising batsman in this IPL ?

in my opinion it is Paul Valthaty. If he can continue the good work and win Punjab even 2 more matches...well, the selectors will have to think of him for the Indian T20 side for the world cup.

@darkridersoumya I was talking about youngstars only. You are right and took the names who has made some impact. Paul Valthaty is really playing well. His back to back blistering innings has proved it already. His ability of hitting sixer is very lovely. Chipli and Soham are also good. Balaji is also playing well. His leg cutter which bowled Watson was one of the finest delivery apart from Malinga's yorker.

You are absolutely right. Ambatti Rayadu was the most promising player of Hydrabad before he went to ICL. Now he is back on the track. Playing well in almost all the matches. Paul Valthaty has also made an impact. Thanks for responding
