Break ups are hard on both partners and no matter what the circumstances were, it still breaks your heart because you did have feelings for each other.I know everyone feels "blue" after a break up, which is normal. But I'm going to tell you some things I that I do, when I've just broken up and I'm feeling depressed. 1. I have to accept the fact that its over,we broke up for a reason, and it just couldn't be fixed.Don't blame yourself for the break-up, Don't think it was you!. 2.Take your best girlfriend or get a whole bunch of your friends and go shopping, have fun, laugh it out instead of crying it out.(I mean its okay to cry but like when you've broken up and your at home, just sitting alone, wanting to cry.. yeah. go ahead and cry, but don't cry about it all the time.) 3.Don't look in the past,it'll only make you feel worse.(if you aren't able to handle it yet.) 4.Try to find a positive outcome to this.Like the saying goes "Everything happens for a reason and good things come with time."

I love the things you said in this. You also forgot to take time for yourself. You gotta learn things you enjoy doing and have a passion for. I love movies instead of going to them by myself my brother and I would go to the movies together. It helped make the bond between us better because it gave us more to talk about.

I agree, just like the song says, breaking up it's hard to do. Your pointers make a lot of sense, they would help in a way, eventually one will have to get up from it, shake it off and continue with life.
