as seen on tv.

a.s.o.t - You can order them of the television, over the internet or wait for them to come out in certain stores.

I watch these advertisements on television. They are products that you can order. Such things as I Renew Bracelet, Wow Chef Baskets, Easy Feet (for cleaning feet) Peg Egg and many more. A variety of things from A to Z. As I watch these advertisements, I am thinking I sure would love that or I am going to get this. But I don't order them off the television because I have to pay more and plus shipping and handling, what I do is wait for them to come out in the stores. Dollar General has a As Seen on TV section and CVS has one too. The last As Seen on TV Item I bought was the Cami Secret( clip-on mock camisoles). I am very seriously thinking of buying the One Second Needle next. Do you buy these products? Do you order them of the TV?, or do you wait for them to come out in the stores?

TV shopping is an idiots game! One dollar items for twenty dollars and more! All made in China too. My favorite item NOT to buy - Slimming Coffee! At 68 Euros!

Walmart at Christmas had this section too...but there wasn't anything there that I really wanted...so pass on all of it....I have seen some of it also at Dollar General. What is the one second needle?

I will check Walmart out. The one second needle, is a needle with an opening in it where you can slide the thread through it, it says you can thread the needle in one second.

I usually wait and buy them in person. In fact, before I will buy them I like to read some reviews as well. We have a television station that will do some "Does it work" tests. I bought a shaker weight, because my niece had one, and I could try it. It also was recommended on "The Doctors". I have seen one or two others I would also try.

It is a local news broadcast that does "Does It Work? Wednesday." Ours is a CBS affiliate.

Now that is a good television station. I have never heard of it. And if it comes to this area I will definitely check it out.

I bought the Ped Egg when I found it in Walgreens like a year ago. It worked like a dream. But people have to remember to use it on dry feet. Someone was saying it didn't work for them, but they used it on wet feet. It worked so well for me that a couple of people I know ended up buying themselves one too. I never order those things on TV.

Hi AmbiePam , thanks for the heads up on the Peg Egg, I haven't used that one yet, I have gotten into doing my own pedicures, so I am sure I will eventually try it out.

Hola Chevee, I watch some of the infomercials at night when I can't find anything else, and some of them really draw me in! The one I saw for some kind of airbrusing makeup machine, really made me want to buy it, but I think it cost too much, but I still would love to try it. Oh and by the way, That one second needle looks really cool, and I had one very similar to it about a year ago. Unfortunately I broke it, and then I couldn't remember what store I purchased it at! I still have not been able to find it, but I really loved it. It was a very good invention that make threading so much easier. Vaya con Dios, Acongojada

I agree, thanks for your response. I am sure you can find that needle at one of the stores that sell the As Seen On Tv products.

I have seen that one on TV too. I haven't seen it in the stores yet. I don't do that much sewing so I am just observing this one.

I never order things from the TV, but I have come across a few products that are useful. I bought myself and my son the window washer thing that you use inside the windshield of the car. It's hard for me to reach that far and he drives a big truck that has a long windshield, so it's worked well for both of us. The "One Second Needle" must be the same thing as self threading needles. I bought a package of them years ago and never use them. I think one of those little variety catalogs like Walter Drake has them.

Thank you for responding, I did see one of those windshield washing things, I started to buy it but brought something else instead. I can use one of those, it is hard to wash the inside of my windshield.

Hi Anti, yes I am on a roll, for some reason I have a lot to say lately. I know what u mean about having a sale, a yard sale that is. But I don't think anyone would want any of this junk I have stored up.

Thanks for sharing. Becuase I have seen that and thought it would be good for my granddog, which is a Syberian Husky. Now I wouldn't recommend nothing to my daughter that I thought would hurt my g-dog.
