when was the last time your family spent time together?

The last time we spent together was 2 months ago. We gone to a secluded mountain tourist spot where my family plus my sibling's girlfriend went to enjoy and spend some quality time. I guess i was being the killjoy becuase the trip coincided with a particular paper that I need to publish at the same time. But I did participate in one of the excursions we had which was the cave exploring. After that experience, I will never go inside another cave again. I really had a good time back then and I guess my parents planned that trip to reconnect with us, the children. They have been living apart from us for nearly a year and we had an enormous distance between us. Sure text messages and calls were good tools to reconnect but nothing beats the presence of a loved one in person.

we ate dinner together last black saturday and watched some dvds in the living room. even if we live together, our different schedules don't allow us to eat meals together which is rather sad. but it's a good thing i get to see them everyday.

There's only three of us in the family: me, my mom, and my brother. We always go malling on the weekends. During the weekdays, my brother goes to work and my mom and I are at home. We watch the TV together and that's the time we also get to chat about stuff. Also, we all eat our meals at the same time. It's really fun and nice to enjoy the simplest things with our families.

Lets see the last time my family and I spent time together was prolly like saturday.we were all in the living room watching bleach on cartoon and fooly cooly and I was playing cards with my sister (muahahah! i cheated) *coughs* anyway while my mom was reading some article in a magazine. actually as I am typing to you my little sister is right next to me.she is on the desktop and I am on the laptop.

it was already 9 mos since the last time that my family is complete and spent family time.. this is because of the nature of work of my father.. he is a capatain of a cargo ship so he has to be away for 9mos or so depending on his contract.. right now, his contract was extended and had to stay there longer..
