Vegetables are not the only source of healthy diet though. You need all the types of food in the food pyramid in order to be healthy. A little bit of proteins is bad and an excess of carbohydrates is not good. It is true that a healthy diet needs to have both in order to balance. Have a great day here in MyLot!

Red meat, Hormone-treated meat, deep-fried meat. Actually bad proteins depends on how you cook it. They say full-fat diary is also a bad protein. But remember, fats are actually not contributing to making fat.

Along with water, some exercise, and good sleep! I like eating multiple small meals a day when I am on a diet. This always helps to speed my metabolism and gives me more energy. I also drink water before I eat to make sure I am not just thirsty. I like being on healthy diets because you feel so good when you wake up, and you have a lot more energy that you don't even notice you are missing until you start your diet.

I would like to also add that a healthy diet is a diet with portions. Eating a variety of food is really healthy, however if your portions are wrong you might end up worse than before. The standard rule is to follow the food pyramid in portioning your meal. And remember to have carbohydrates that have high fiber content rather than just plain rice or white bread. Fiber helps prevent colon cancer and also helps in its motility. Some people think that a giant piece of pork chop is healthy. They don't know that a serving of meat is usually 1 matchbox size only. sometimes u will need 1-2 serving per meal, depending on your protein intake. Any excess of this, may result to weight gain and high cholesterol. Always try to substitute for meals with less cholesterol. If you can steam than fry than steam. If you can have chicken than pork than go with chicken. If you can have whole wheat bread than white bread than go with the whole wheat bread. It is all about your food preferences.
