If women were physically strong as men are. Dare to hurt them.

I dont know, there are some very weedy guys out there, and some terrifyingly strong women. Arent you stereotyping a little. There's plenty of women that attack their husbands rather than the other way around. Its just socially acceptable for a woman to do it for some strange reason.

It is the mind set more than physical weakness of the woman that subjects her to physical abuse by her man because the man will never expect retalisation. Women never think in terms of retaliation. They could use external force to hurt the man who has abused her. But this thought never occurs to the woman as they think it is not ladylike!!!It is time this thinking changes specially for women who are subjected to physical abuse.

It's not really that the men are physically strong that they assault women. Women have been trained to take the men's dominance and mentally they stay away from hitting back...not because they can't...because they SHOULDN'T. For physical harassment to come down, it has to be done at the grass root level...and there should be a change in the mentality of the public.

Hi SHAMRACK, Do not worry, they are getting stronger both in the physical as well as psychological sharpness. Thee are many women who are, I know, can kick down a man. That they are called weak and they are weak only because of men. Gradually from the cave and stone age women were not basically food preparers and men were the food provider. Since than the legacy has been on and on. The scene is changing. Now even if you do not offer a seat to lady in a train or bus they do not whine or rant.

If you search the scripture ( holy bible ) you will find out that God created a man ( adam ) and from adam rib God created a woman ( eve ) God has given man that leadership role from the beginning. I do not think the world will be perfect to see a woman exercising more authority than the man. Women have their role in society and they are just to support the man. They are to be a helper to the man and not to exercise equal authority with men. There a lot of NGO preaching about women have equal opportunity with a man. But at the end of the day their struggle have not change the original role God has for man and that of the women.

Hi Shamrack! Being a women is a great thing in itself and if women were physically strong as men, they would not have stay hidden in home with the fear of their husbands. Today, most women are independent and live their life the way they want to but still in some parts of world, women are treated very badly. My mom used to tell me that her great grandmother wanted to become a nurse but her husband never allowed her to study and kept her at home to take care of their children. I agree that the world is completely changed today but still in addition to all our superb features if we just got as strong as men, things would be so amazing!

Hi Shamrack what you are espousing is the feminist philosophy and dreams which has been the fundamental reason in the astounding number of divorces we have throughout the world in this era.For a family to survive either both couples need to adjust,or one should be dominant and the other should adjust.The intelligent and caring woman saw that she could do a pretty good job in raising the family if she kept her egos curbed and adjusted to her husband who was physically stronger and had a bigger ego.But many women of today has been blinded by the message of feminism that she will get no respect if she can't stand for herself.This is leading to so many broken homes with both couples going for each other's throats all the time.The best solution is women should go back to nurturing which they are uniquely endowed with and men go back to breadwinning,which makes them feel more worthwhile.Hope men and women escape the shackles of feminism
