After being determined for bringing their cricketers back on 5th, they finally went U turn to let them available for their respective team till 18th as before scheduled. SLC said they finally changed their decision because they don't want to demote the relationship with BCCI. Plus the reaction from senior players like Mahela Jayawardhane, Lasith Malinga also changed their mind. Is BCCI's financial position and cricketers tendency towards huge money from IPL good for the cricket ? Didn't the cricketers make themselves popular from playing their respective countries ? Did IPL give platform or made them worldwide famous before ?

SLC seems to have blinked in front of the BCCI by going back on their decision. It really makes them look stupid and adds more weightage the financial clout of BCCI. I really think that boards need to be more powerful and should decide in favor of international tours rather then local tournaments such as IPL.
Cheers!

Hi rafaeelnada,
That is a good news indeed. There 10 odd players in the current ipl matches. If they are to leave in between it would be a big blow for so many teams.
You said it rightly. ipl is basically for making more money. The players get money as well as the BCCI too.
This is good move from Sri Lanka that they comply with the request of the BCCI so that players of their country stayed till the end.
