I definately prefer non-fiction as I can learn about history and some great ideas while passing time.

I like mostly crime, murder mystery fiction. Although if there is a good story (mostly crimes) that are factual I don't ming reading them either. My favoutire authors are Patricua Cornwell, Mary Higgins-clarke anad James Patterson

It all depends. There're a lot of great novels out there. But once you find a subject matter you really like, are really passionate about, then you can and should read up on it.
