Hello there Before going to bed, there's at least one thing I regret doing/not doing everyday. Things like: not completing my homework while I had the time to, not doing my singing lessons, not exercising(sometimes), sleeping late, eating even while I was really full lol. This are basically the things I regret everyday. What about you?

I regret not studying everyday much. I regret not listening to more music. Regret not eating more and there is a whole bunch of things i regret but when all of these come to my mind i have only one thought for all of them. What's the point in regretting for any of these things. Can the regret change them? It will only waste the present time which we have so it's better to just let go and carry on or as they say move on. Regret is there sometimes for me but not too much to forget that i am in the present and i should enjoy myself and be happy with what i have instead of hoping for something i might never get. Cheers!

You have a really nice thinking there. Yep regretting cannot change things or turn back time but I can't help it :(

Your really got a point on what you said. Regrets sometimes a problem for someone, whom don't know how to move on. We really can do about regretting something that we do, what we can do is not to make it again and again, for us not to regret again.

In some cases, I regret also things i left behind which i suppose to finish that day, but because of some unavoidable circumstances i failed to attend and accomplished the things i should do. I find time so short thinking the many things i should have done for a certain period of time. To avoid regrets, what I did is at the end of the day i will write what i should do the following day, starting from the most important. You know at my age, i sometime intend to forget the things i must do so i will write them down so that i have something to remind me. Often, i type those in my cellphone and save it, or i rather make an alarm in my cellphone for the important things i must do so that I will be alerted in that way I will avoid to accept other tasks that will have somehow affect my plans for each day.

That is a good idea. I think I should start writing things that needed to be done in a day too. That way I'll not forget and be compelled to do it. Thanks for the share and have a good day.

I can't really say I personally have regrets, and am in no way perfect. What I would suggest is that you already have a nice organized list of what you wished you had done. How I personally do things is that each day I review my list and X out what was done and re-write my list for the next day. This way it is staring at me in the face what I did not accomplished and wished I had those all go at the top of the list with more added daily. This way I do not have regrets and or can place excuses each time I see I have slacked off a bit. By the way life is short so no need to be too hard on ourselves.

wow, that's terrible. I think you need to have proper planning with your doings. so could do it all in a more organize way everyday. I used to do all my stuff based on schedule. Because i always want to finish everything that needs to be done in a day. Because i know for sure the next day will be fully occupied again and i don't want to overlap things, because that will be more difficult. Thanks and Good Luck to you!

Hmm... not everyday but weekly maybe.. like, exercising, not earning enough money, not working it to earn enough, not helping out my friend when i had the time.. basically just wasting time away while i am suppose to be doing something important like fulfilling my dreams.. taking actions and stuffs.. but then i see the news & the world is having disasters everywhere.. i tell myself to treasure what i have now, have no regrets.. & start making time for it than to have time to make it. :)

Actually I don't ask myself. It just comes to my mind like something stinging inside. And then I promise myself I'll not be a lazy person starting the next day but that happens again :/

My biggest regret in my life was getting married. Not to say that marriage is a bad thing, but for me the woman that I married was not good for me at all. She lied and cheated. The woman I should have gotten involved with was perfect for me. She now lives with me after all these years. She is great. Do I have regrets everyday? No. Now things for me are in transition.

Oh it's so good that things are turning good for you. It's even better that you had a chance to correct the thing you regretted. I hope you have a great life ahead with the love of your life. Good luck.

hi, if you feel you have regrets everyday before going to bed , I think the best way to overcome this if I may suggest is to note or jot down what it is that pops up most often and do steps to overcome the problem, it's not really that bad cause at least you are still conscious of things you failed to do or over did ,so I guess it could easily be corrected

Regret is always a part of our life. A feeling of disappointment to something that you want to do, but you didn't try to make. I had a lot of regrets in life, like losing someone very special to me. A regret that almost make me down, and try not to continue my life, but life still go on. Sometimes I'm thinking why is it that it is happening to me? That i didn't try to fight for that person. But we really can blame our self to what happened to us. Regrets always in the end, not in the beginning.
