highschool is probably one of the most memorable stage in a life of a person.. it is maybe because it is when we learn to get along with other people and form our own group of people having the same interests.. some people may have a life in h.s. that has full of drama while others stories of fun and adventure..
as for me, what i miss most about high school is the people, my classmates.. i miss how we have fun and let our teacher have a headache.. i miss having long talks with them and sharing giggles and laughter.. those moments where you feel you have a bad day but they can turn your mood up.. until now, we are trying to connect and communicate and see each other as much as we can to update each other.. what about you? what do you miss most about high school?.. :)

I miss high school a lot, and I'm just three years out of it. Of all the things I love in high school, it's my friends I miss the most. We always promised each other that things will always be the same, but we never realized that they would until we parted.
I also miss how people don't treat you like kids anymore but don't expect you to be a grown-ups either. Freedom and responsibility can make life very hard and lonely.

i agree with you.. it's good that at that time, people expect not much from us but at the same time don't treat us like babies.. :)

I never realized how nice it was to have someone you can depend on at all times who won't chastise you for being immature until I was left to be independent. I miss how you don't have to worry about bills and stuff. Nowadays, it's almost a requirement. What a bummmer.

I'm having a better time now but there is one thing I Do miss, the joy I got when my favorite song would play! I remember being at a dance and they played one of our favorite songs and my friends and I ran to the dance floor!

I didn't go to prom , it was a regular dance. I loved those, I didn't have to wear a dress.

After 40 years, I'm not missing much. But I'm not sure I missed most of the high school experience once I was in college. Definitely not after I was married.

It is fun to go back years later. At my 40th, I was surprised what people remembered about me.

its unfortunate that i don't really miss highschool because its all studying and school and training. We really don't have a lot of free time on our hands and if we did, it all goes to sleeping and such.

no not really. our school has one of the strictest standards that it is really absurd. That is why most of our alumni talk badly about that school.
before, one student was forced to have a public apology on facebook because one of his created piano music piece was titled like "sadness for (school name)". His piece was very good for someone so young but the tune, melody and whole feel of the said piece is ofcourse melodramatic. He has been threatened with suspension and even kicking him out of the school but with the public outcry they just leaned on threatening suspension.
That said school also suspended 3 students that is known nationally as very smart/academic.(gotten national awards, quiz bees and such) suspended for dancing with a little bit of jumping(non explicit just regular jumping) for lewd behavior/ unnecessary movements.
I was also suspended for something i didn't do even if I am leader of the group. But i didn't commanded them to do unnecessary acts to do that. (its one of my discussions/ or some responses before burning of a blackboards or something)
Our school's volleyball team was on par with the national volleyball team and adidas wants to sponsor them and even give a lot of benefits for the school. the school tentatively didn't agree with the proposal(some national volleyball team members came from this school).
mandatory military training even if its in the law we are the only high school that was given real hard military training even at par with most mandatory college military training ( competing in public military competitions).
I have really suffered in that school. the thoughts of that school literally aches my heart.

Honestly, i miss nothing about my schooling. My mother was the most hated vice principal in the school. Its ironic how she was hated for doing her job too well.
There was no partiality or anything of that kind, i as treated like others or sometimes i was punished more then others. I wasn't trusted, when i kept all the secrets even to my mother.
I did fight back to all the potty mouths in my last year at school, cous kids had crossed their limits and i was suspended for a week or something and i don't regret it.
Because of school, i started getting distant to my mother as she didn't let me quit that school. Also i had to stay back at school till 5 p.m cous of mother, when all others left at 1. Mother didn't let me go home alone cous she thought i was too young to handle myself out there, when i was like 17 and she had allowed my brother to go home alone at the age of 13.
He didn't even take me with him, he said he wouldn't wanna get in fight with others cous of me.
now that i'm older i've learned to respect her decision. In india at some places it isn't safe for a girl that young to move alone, specially when it comes to traveling long distances.
i was so thick headed i could have kicked a pervert in the nads and could have get myself killed.
So i'm so sorry i got carried away, just had to say it i guesss. :p
but i did utilize that time at school to draw and i still hold that passion and one thing i miss is that age, nothing else.

i think it is really difficult if you are studying in a school wherein your parent holds a position.. my mother is actually a school principal but i begged her not to enroll me to her school because i know there will just be a lot of pressure on both my part and on my mother.. also, i'm afraid there will be issues of favoritism which i really would want to avoid.. fortunately, my mother enrolled me to another school in another town.. and i'm glad she did!

what i miss in high school is the time after class when we get to hang out with friends because homeworks are not that many and we dont have to research answers. I agree with the others about the care free attitude at that time and also the moments when you see your crush walking by :)

i guess most of us, it is really the bond that we have with our friends that we miss.. you're right, because in highschool there is not much to research compared to when we were in college.. :)

Hmmp....maybe the time I was started receiving love letters. When I experienced the first "kilig" in my teenage life, every time I saw my crush passed by in our classroom. The worst part was when we learned to exit from our classes and strolled downtown and backed before classes ended. The good things, until now our parents doesn't know about those escapade. The memories of high School days far different compare in college days. more enjoyable ever.

Aside from friends, teachers, and crushes, what i missed most about highschool life is the time when i used to join programs/events in school. Joining school activities really makes me cultivate my talent and i gained more friends and extra grades for participating.

I miss the times that we play basketball all day. I was a member of the varsity in our school and we were pretty serious about winning. I also miss playing the band with my friends. Those were the days.

Our high school was really a great place. All in all, there were only around 269 students from first to fourth year so almost everyone knew each other. Almost all the students also live in the school dorms so you can imagine how much fun everyone would have after school hours. I miss everything about my high school especially my classmates.

High school. I miss this time and i wished not to remember it at the same time.what i love about it was the life being carefree the life where you only worry about crushes and assignments,or worse, strict teachers and that's about it. I hate to remember most of it though because that is where i have learned about betrayal and losing people you trust, you love...

What I miss the most about high school is actually everything... I miss the sleeping till noon on saturdays or even on summer vaca, miss the not having to worry about paying bills, buying groceries, all the grown up things we have now to worry about. I miss the sports cheerleading, basketball, softball. The carefree days. Kids dont realize that when they get older they are goin to have to man up and deal with everything adults do. I know i was nieve when i was a teenager, but the way kids act now my gosh i know i know i wasnt that lazy. If i could i would go back and do it all over again.

Hi ofabiania!
What I miss most about highschool is the certain carefree-ness of life. We didn't really think much of the future and what was important in our lives was seeing our classmates, and talking to our crushes! I didn't have to worry about work, or earning money. All we did was have fun. I miss that. :)

I miss the fact that we didn't had major problems in ours lifes. My problems were doubts about boys, the next week test or my parents don't let me do this and that..
It was easy time of my life, but in that time, it seems that every little thing became a huge problem.
