A Network "Stealing" Your Prepaid Load

Hello there! I have experienced unknowingly registering to a network's gimmicks. One day they tell you that you received a free mp3, then they encourage you to register so you'll get a different mp3 for 15 days. Or something like that. Now, everytime I load my cellphone, it almost instantly disappears because they take it for my subscription payment! This really frustrated me, so I had to buy a new SIM. Has anyone shared a similar experience? For those who have not, I warn you beware of network offers, like MMS, mp3 and such. Good day!

I had the same experience of having 'stolen' load from my cellphone in one of my discussions. However, I did point out that the 'stealing' didn't happen becuase of a promo. I had my promos suspended becuase they are costing me money by just popping up a message that I'm barely interested. However, I share your sentiment that this kind of service (for the lack of a better term) is too costly. cellphone provides may have given us low rates to load our cellphones but they didn't lower the cost of their promos. In your case, how much more load will be left to be used after the promos had their cut. I am seriously considering to switch to other network or replace my SIM. Another costly endeavor.

From my country we do also have some problems. If you download some wallpapers or yea, tones for cellphone your cellphone load is eaten whenever the network sends you something. This was happened to me years ago, what I did is replace the sim and never subscribe for this gimmick at all.
