'Yes,i am a mother!I have changed my eyeshadow for bags under my eyes,straightened hair for ponytail,party nights for nights caring for my sick child,designer bags for baby bags....I am a mother and i dont care about anything i had to give up or stop doing for the love and satisfaction of a"mummy i love you."'
I read that on a friends page on facebook and i couldnt help but share it here on mylot.I know that all mothers feel this way about their kids.
It made me feel real good.

I never did use much eyeshadow or go to parties and never carried a designer bag, but I know exactly what she means. A child is worth all the fashion and personal ego trips that ever were. It's not giving up anything... it's gaining everything to hear a child say "mummy, I love you." There's nothing quite as delightful as a baby's first real smile.
