end of days? is it real?

You know the story, you've seen the movie, but is it really coming? My thoughts...yes. If you think about it, things are already starting. First, the Earthquake in the far south, Alabama or somewhere down there...then the Japan thing, and now the most recent event...tornatos from the west going through North Carolina. I actually live in NC, luckily away from those tornatos and storms, but after seeing "2012" a couple times along with other disaster movies and the fact that everyone is starting to bring up the Mayan calender again...something is coming. I am willing to bet though, that the end of days may not happen on December 21, 2012...it might happen before or after that date. But I do believe that it is coming and fast. I don't follow everything, but I do follow a few of the major natural disaster effects to keep me up-to-date in the world. It is amazing to see everything going on...that is for sure. Anyone else agree?

The world is definately waiting for something to happen. For someone to show up. And it will be very easy for someone or something to deceive them. Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Be mindful of not being deceived. The ancient Hebrew prophets were shown what will take place. It's all there. The most important thing right now is to get right with God. He's about to judge the wickedness of man. Israel is in the front and center of what will take place. Never forget that God does not change nor do his promises, that means to Israel as well as to Christians. There are the obvious signs most people are aware of. Wars, rumors of wars, pestilence, earthquakes...all intensifying and coming closer together like birth pains. We see that already. I believe the push for a New World Order is just what it says. A world governed by ONE man who is worshiped as god by the direction of the false prophet. Interesting fact: Israel is awaiting the Messiah, Islam is awaiting their 12th Iman and Christians are awaiting the second coming of Christ. All three monotheistic faiths are waiting for someone. Interesting fact. When the computers had to be upgraded right before Y2K...billions were spent worldwide to put all of the governmental computers in sync. It was boasted by the man who developed the program for this, I can now run the world with just four people. The push for a one world religion, tolerance for all, except those who won't worship the beast (antichrist). The push for a cashless society run by computers which will keep track of all economic activity. Mark of the beast, cannot buy or sell without the number. It's all in place, just waiting for a good crisis, as our presidential advisors say. We are on the verge and it will not be the awakening into the age of aquarius most think it will be.

I agree 100% although I believe even those born again will have a great deal of suffering on earth before He comes for us. There is so much poverty and violence, and many godly people are suffering now. The only was to endure is to know that our time on earth is short compared to eternity in heaven, and continue to trust in Him.

Hello wolfspaw85, Yes, I agree with you; The weather is definitely getting more intense the Bible says in Matthew 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place. And in verse 8 it says - All this is but the beginning[the early pangs] of the birth pangs [of the intolerable anguish]. Also if anyone has a Bible please read Matthew 24:10-22. watch the sky and be ready people God Bless us all.

I was talking about this the other day with my supervisor and we both agree it is coming but now how everyone thinks its coming. We came to a final conclusion that the way the earth is going to end is with Japan. With the nuclear reactor melting in Japan we believe the uranium rods are going to melt to the core of the earth and that is going to cause a big explosion and send us hurdling into space in millions of pieces. Its a conspiracy man.

I really can't say because I never saw the movie but I agree a lot of strange things are happening out there in this world and it does make people wonder what is going on in this world and I think that it is scary.

God's Word has an answer for that fear jahernandezrivas. Read the New Testament and in it you will find the remedy for your fear; ask the Lord to forgive you your sins. Get right with God. I am praying that my words will reach the heart, trust your instincts, God is about to judge this wicked world system.

Seriously? You could have made the same claims after any natural disaster. Tornados in North Carolina? How the hell is that surprising? And an earthquake in Alabama? Not so incredibly surprising. Earthquakes occur in tectonically dormant areas regularly. Your rationale is so disturbing it suggests extreme stupidity. Is this the mindset of most from NC? Please let me know, so I can come down and make some money off your state's stupidity.

I must tell you, that is not the way to post on MyLot if you want to earn good reputation. Calling people names is very immature.

This is just a new "theory" that comes around every few years about the world ending. I think you watch too many disaster movies. It originates from the Mayan calendar ending in 2012. An interview with a Mayan princess stated that she said there is no proof or foundation to the theory. I think conspiracy nuts just look for anything to base their beliefs/fears in. We will be fine. Just like Y2K, nothing is going to happen.

Oh, but something did happen in Y2K. Now, all it takes is about four people to run the economic world. Or for that matter, the military world. The computers were updated and are all in sync. Just waiting for someone to take charge and rule the world. Ever hear of the mark of the beast...verichips are being put in people as we speak. btw...don't take one.

If the guy responsible says that is how it is, it is not a conspiracy theory it is fact. And no, I'm not paranoid nor am I willfully blind as some are. And thank you very much too!

I have been around for many years and have heard many times that this time it is the right time for the earth to end. One of these time it may be right or not.

I don't agree that 2012 is the end of the world. But I believe there is judgement day but not that date and year. If we really carefully read the bible. No one will know about the end of the world. Because even the son of the God, itself didn't know when the end of world will be happen...

I don't believe in that, but it's interesting so we actually talked about it for like days! What I think is, uhh.. simple.. maybe 2012 is the start of revelation? the last chapter in Bible. or maybe 2012 is uhh.. the NEW WORLD ORDER? so many things that can happen on that year but I think it's impossible for it to be the END OF THE DAYS! If it's gonna be end of the days, then what happened to the Book of Revelation? (If you believe in Bible) I know that many incidents are now occurring, from earthquake to typhoons, tornadoes and etc. but it is still now enough to be SIGNS of second coming. Majority of my thoughts is, it's gonna be a BEGINNING of something. whatever happens just be prepared. That would be the right thing to do.

Agree. These disasters could be a warning that we have to be prepared nowadays. I believe that we could be living in the end of days. Maybe these are all happening because people nowadays not that into worshipping God. Whatever that is going to happen im quite sure that all of those is the consequence of our action. Like global warming and climate change it is because of humans actions why it is happening.

end of days for the humans.... not for the world.... the world (earth) continues to live even though without humans..... the earth will be a healthy earth if there is no humans around.... since we use fossil fuels even today as number one that destroys climate.....

i don't believe that the world will end in 2012.. i know it is also written in the Bible that there will come time wherein the world will end.. however, i don't think it will happen anytime soon.. all of the disasters that has been going on serves to be a wake-up call for all of us that if we won't change our ways, then the end of the world will do come sooner.. :)
