For the last time.... My Neighborhood dentist told me that it's not possible to make another one unless the other two is convert into jacket as well on the both sides. unfortunately, i didn't like the sound of that so i decided to agree with the dentist to have dentures instead. Yeah, that's right, dentures (or pustiso in tagalog), which really made me sad. though it is removable, guess i need to accept the fact that i have lost my teeth a long time ago. I had the jacket since 95, i guess it's time to let it go. I know some of you had dentures teeth. what does it feel like?

hi LK, guess there is nothing wrong with having a false teeth except that you will have less sensation and that you will have to be careful on what to bite. they will surely be much weaker than real teeth. i think i will be a candidate having those teeth too because my gums are not well. the doctor says i need to have my teeth extracted. yes quite sad. ann

Hello Aunt, Don't worry am very much ok since am not a model from the start so I think having a denture will surely helped me out not worrying about my teeth being taken out for sure. The only problem I have now Is my wisdom tooth that needs to be removed but am scared because it's should have been last year. I have taken anti bacterial medications for as long as I can remember. Have a nice day.

Hello hatley, I am not sure what it's called in the US. In jacket teeth, the old rotten one remains but its' drilled and the exterior is what they called the jacked teeth. Unlike dentures, it's a complete false teeth with NO original teeth left behind. ONE HUNDRED SIX DOLLARS! That's four thousand pesos plus here already wow! Well, I guess am lucky having two denture teeth for one hundred dollar plus as well. Have a nice day.

I don't have false teeth but my husband does. It took a little while for him to get used to them, but now he has no trouble. He got the upper ones and next month we go back for the lower ones to be done.

Hello Step. WOW! Lucky you don't. I am very sure it's expensive to do it, it's hard when having a false teeth. Most specially if those are actually not worked well by the dentist. Good luck and have a nice day.

Hello Sis Jaiho, unfortunately, this problem will happen again in the long run. The dentist knows it therefore she's recommending the denture instead to save money. And probably save my other tooth besides the two rotten ones on the front. The pain thing is on e the other tooth of mine, it's in the rear side. I haven't had that removed. Have a nice day.

I also felt bad when I had my jacket on my two front upper teeth. Actually, teeth braces will do, but since I couldn't afford it(I still can't right now) the dentist(general dentist) just told me to have jackets instead. If only I have the money back then(2007), for sure I will not let that happen. =(

Hello Maraicecilia13, wow, thank god am not the only one who has a jacket teeth here. I feel so ashamed of it since and I didn't like telling every one either. When I went to the conference, I didn't have the jacket installed. I think as long as you're jacket isn't removed due to eating, then you'll be fine but if it's constantly or yearly being removed because of the food or wrongly installed I think it's either you don't eat with the use of jacket or go for the dentures too. Have a nice day.

Hello Bhabycatch, At least now you know that you're teeth is REAL and not something fake like mine. It's half real because the real one is already rotten and not enough carry the jacket teeth no more. I think it's impossible for you to have it cut down a bit unless you want to drill it and turned it into a jacket as well. But that's a natural teeth I think. Have a nice day.

I have no idea what dentures are like, yet.. I do have one crown and only because while getting some work done on one of my tooth the dentist accidentally chipped my one molar and after his apology I ended up with a crown. In which you call jacket crown. I have had to replace once already and with time it will go bad. Unfortunately me being nice I did not pursue the dentist at the time and now no where to be found. I suppose dentures for some can okay if they are done and fitted properly. I know some who have it and while some can never get use to it there are those you can't even tell they have it. So I really believe it depends on how they are made and properly fitted to the gums. Good luck my friend and well let us just say it is part of life, sadly you are too young. Hope the jacket teeth last a good long time though.
