I celebrated Easter Sunday with my family. My nieces and nephews are here in our house and we enjoyed each other's company. Of course, we started the celebration by attending the Sunday Mass at our Church and the we had lunch. We ate roasted chicken, ice cream, sticky rice and a lot more. How about you? How did you celebrate Easter Sunday? Whose with you while you are celebrating Easter Sunday?

Hmmm...sounds interesting. Whatever that activity is, I am happy for you at least you were able to satisfy yourself. Being with friends is also very therapeutic in a way. You laugh with them, you play with them, you eat with them, etc. It releases your tension and makes you like a child again. :-)

I must agree that being a childlike sometimes could be therapeutic. But then again, just "once in a while" otherwise we will be diagnosed with ADHD Lol!

I saw a Easter Movie Marathon. I saw Eater Parade, Barabbas,King Of Kings, The Greatest Story Ever Told, Jesus Christ super Star and then a little of The Last Temptation Of Christ. It was wonderful. Even though I'm Jewish , I love these films.I started at 9am and ended around 12am! What a day!

I love King Of Kings far better than The Greatest Story Ever Told. Please take this with the respect intended but I could Never be a Catholic. But that is why I respect Every Catholic ! I would be a very casual Protestant, like I am Jewish.

Ok sarah well taken. I respect that. Whatever reasons you have hypothetically though of choosing protestantism, I understand that and I respect it. God bless and Shalom!
Thanks for emphasizing that you respect us Catholics. :-)

Hi Sarah! Indeed, it was a fruitful day for you watching these fantastic films! I am happy that you enjoyed watching them. I love THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD AND JESUS SUPERSTAR.
Sarah, this is just a hypothetical question, I hope you don't mind. If ever you will be converted to Christianity, where will you be converted: Catholicism or Protestantism? :-)

A simple celebration with someone is all I have today. Since my family is in other islands of teh country. Early morning we go to the beach before a crowd of swimmers come. Then we went home when the sun is up. We went home cook and have sumptuous meal :-) Then we go to the church and attend the holy eucharistic celebration of Easter.

No matter how simple things are celebrated, the most important thing is that you have celebrated it meaningfully and fruitfully. I believe that the best way to celebrate special occasions such as this, is to celebrate it with the family or people who are special to you. However, how I wish you could have celebrated the Mass first before delving into the nice salty water of the beach. :-) just a suggestion though.

I do not celebrate Easter but I have some family members (aunts/uncles/cousins) who do. Not quite sure what they did but they went to Church though. I did buy Easter candies :)

Good for your family members and for you as well for buying the Easter candies. ^^) Anyway, celebrating Easter is not just until Easter Sunday, it should be everyday. As we, children of God, are borne to new life through the grace and gift of Easter. We thank God for sending us His only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord who saved all of us including those who do not believe in Him; including those who mock him, those who desecrate and blaspheme Him. ^_^

Hello ivane! That is just fine! What is important is that you are enjoying each other's company and that you had a good time together. Nonetheless, what matters most is the precious quality time that you've been together and not the quantity of time. Therefore, may it be in a beach resort, in a hotel, in a swimming pool or you simply stay at home, your presence and your bonding will be the ultimate end of every thing after all. Happy Easter!
