The Weirdest Dreams

I was once studying for my degree a physiological unit which gave great depths to dreams and their meaning.
I was taught that what happens in your dreams is a reality likeness to what you wish would really happen. Its a subconscious realist thought. Secondly dreams are dreams, Right so why is it possible to have a dream and wake up and not remember it and then have a dream one day and then realise when you wake up that you remember everything in great detail.
The dream I have had and can remember everything happens quite often every week and have come to you my friendly allotter to help me understand the meaning of what this dream represents.
the dream begins with myself being released from some where with my friends waiting outside when they see me they run to me and I stick my fingers up at them and rise off the ground. I fly away but as people desert the street I float back down and as they approach I float back off. Its a nice dream the idea that a human being like a super hero could just float off when they felt like it.
What I don't like about this dream is it the same dream every time and I have it 2 or 3 times a week without a change in habits. I have tried changing what I eat and have also tried not eating after 8pm so what could it be.
Please guys let me understand this dream it would be of a great help to understand this strange experience.

cool discussion :) I am no dream interpreter unfortunately and all I know is that when a person floats up and down it can mean "no matter how much you try to reach for it, it's never gonna be easy". The only key to defy this is persistence. :) I had this floating scenario too but It was about school and now, I worked so hard and am a happy fresh new grad :)
