When I was in grade school my mother died of a disease. My family really suffer from emotional struggle and also financially unstable. At my young age I realized that its really hard to live when one is gone in your family.
Despite of everything my father bravely stand up and continue to support us in our daily life. He worked hard day until night to give us everything we need. He does not depend on our relatives to finance us. I am really proud of my dad, even I don't usually tell him "I love you dad". I hope my good deeds towards yo is enough to show to you that I am proud of you.

Wow! I hope there are lot more men like him :) It's best that you also show your compassion to him both in action and in words. I just lost my Father recently and for me I couldn't ask for more..but I do regret one thing, I never showed much of my emotion when in front of him. :'C

hello,
Well, we have the same situation but in reverse I only have my mother because my mom and dad got divorce when I was 12 years old. And like you I am so proud of my mom because she did everything and now we my sister already graduated in college and me next year. How I wish I have a father like you? I never experience that my father is caring us at all always my mom. He is really irresponsible because he always drunk when he got home. I really wish that I have a father like yours? but I am happy with my mother even we misunderstood sometimes. I still love her for all she did to us.
keep loving your dad

That is one good dad a child can be proud of. I would also be proud of having a dad like that, maybe if cannot tell him openly how i love him and proud of him, maybe i could write him a letter or a card on his birthday or anytime seems appropriate to express my feelings, maybe on a father's day perhaps.

yes, your father is great. He did all responsibilities alone without the help of others.

Your father sounds like a very good role model for not just you two, but everyone to look up to. There are not many people who could take a hard situation like yours and make a very happy one out of it, so you two are blessed. I am glad you see this and appreciate your father, and you should tell him you do! If it is hard for you to say, why don't you write him a card or a letter and tell him how you feel? That is usually easier to express how you feel and you can get everything out that you want to say. I am sure that would mean a lot him, and think about how happy you would be knowing that he knows how you see him. You won't have to wonder if he knows how much you appreciate him, which will be weight off your shoulders.
