HTML Sortie Duplicate

I'm hoping someone has an answer. I've attempted to add content to my profile with the HTML Sortie. I followed all the instructions I could find, including pressing the enter key and trying the dot before the code. I think my difficulty is that I have two HTML Sorties in my profile editor and they may be creating a conflict. (Just a theory). The problem with testing that theory is that there is no "X" to delete one of the sorties from the editor. Anyone have an idea as to how to remove a duplicate HTML sortie or have any other ideas as to the problem?

You do not necessarily have to add HTML to those sorties. You can add text too. I suggest that in one of them you add some text then save it and then remove the sortie and see if that solves your problem.

Thank you for responding. Your suggestion did allow me to remove the duplicate sortie. It took a little more tweaking but I finally have the HTML working too. Your assistance has been invaluable. Thanks again. :)
