I have a mac and it is so frustrating not being able to download a lot of files. I am not very computer savy and tried to look up ways to get around this, and it is all very complicated and costly. I like my mac and don't want to get a pc, but I am starting to think it is worth it because of everything I am missing out on. do you ever have this problem? what do mac users do about this? is it worth it to get a pc?

I am a bit confused. Are you saying that you are having trouble downloading files - any files, or are you saying that some files you download don't work on your Mac?
A Mac can do just about anything that a Windows computer can do, it is just that you have to have a different version of the program to work on the Mac system and a different version to work on a Windows system.
As was said above, you can get a program to make your Mac believe it is a Windows machine but it would be best to get someone to set it up for you.
But my advice would be to get a Windows machine and use that to run Windows programs. Windows machines are so very cheap today and a second hand PC would do for most thinngs.
