I used to cheat a lot when I played games, but I stopped cheating against most people now. I don't think it is as fun if you cheat because it is not as exciting if you win. BUT, i do cheat against my boyfriend because he always wins so it is no fun. I just cheat until we are more even and then I will play fairly until the end of the game if we stay close. If he gets ahead again, I will cheat again to catch up :)

I used to cheat in Doom by going into god mode so I cannot be killed by the enemy I did that to release some stress. Otherwise I don't cheat in games. It is always a challenge to pass games without cheating. I guess I'm showing my age by playing doom lol.

I don't purely because I just enjoy playing games like uno and monopoly etc so I don't want to cheat as it'll ruin the fun :) That and whoever I was playing with, if it's a family member, would throw something at me as well!

To be honest, I grew up in a generation where games were too short to cheat. If I wanted to get the maximum play value out of something that cost a couple weeks' lawn mowing money, I'd probably try to beat it a few times legitimately before cheating. Back then, games were really hard too, so it was tough to resist using codes if I wanted to ever see the ending. Games are easier to come by these days. There are lots of online games and freeware games, so cheating on them doesn't seem as bad, because there will always be something else to play if you lose interest.

Haha. I'm 33 years old, I grew up in the old Nintendo (NES) days, even some Atari. NES games were expensive and I had to beg to get new ones lol

Yes Kirinx, I do cheat in games at times particularly if the game is hard. I remember spending my time reading cheats on how to earn more coins in pet society game. pet society is a popular game in facebook. it is like adopting your own real pet. you have to feed your pet, bath it using soap, play with it, etc... what i like most about this game is that you can decorate your pet's home... :) i have not visited mine for almost a year now. hopefully, i could visit when i have got extra time.

I have cheated on a game before where the winning prize gets a blackberry. But the reason I cheat was because everybody else start cheating. I dont actually know if the officials notice that we were cheating. The game was over the internet. So after the game started playing fair and square, it was ok. Then came the time when people started to cheat. The game then turn into a game of WHO CAN CHEAT BEST, I was great on computers so I used my knowledge and cheat the game. I guessed someone still beat me and I came second. The winner got a blackberry and I also got a blackberry. So I am happy and that is how I now have a blackberry and didn't have to purchase any.

I don't remember cheating on any games. it just doesn't seem likewinning if you feel you have to cheat to gain anything from playing the game in the first place. it does make you feel differently about yourself whether you realize it or not.

I don't like cheating in card games or board games but I cheat in some video games. Some video games, like Grand Theft Auto, I cheat in just because it's more fun that way, at least for me.

The only game I really 'cheat' at is The Sims 2 series. I spend HOURS playing Sims 2, along with the expansion packs I have, and so when I start a new game, I enter in a cheat to give me a lot of money so that I can build a really nice house for my Sim to live in.
Part of the fun of the game is building a home and a nice garden for my Sim, and I like to experiment with different things, and different building styles and I can only do that with a lot of money to start the game with.
Other than that, I don't cheat at games at all.

I do cheat in game to make it won as soon as possible. The most important thing is even I do cheat, I can enjoy what I play game for. Why do I cheat in game? Why not... it just a game!!

No, I don't cheat when playing board or card games... I just don't have fun if I win by cheating. Also, I always play those games with my friends, so it's lots of fun even when I lose; that's why cheating wouldn't make any sense.
I like cheating when playing computer games, not to win, just to mock of the computer or to see something unexpected. Of course I have to be very careful with that... too many cheats aren't good for computers and playstations!

Nope I don't, No matter what happens, win or lose I don't cheat. :) I find it not thrilling if I cheat, If I lose then that's Okay, there will be always a next time. :)
The only game I cheat is I think, Snake (Nokia 5110,3210) hahaha!! Start/Pause mode. LOL

No, I never cheat in games. The purpose of playing games is to have fun not to win. I also teach my children to have the same attitude.

I do not cheat at games. I feel if you have to cheat, the game didn't mean enough to you anyways so you shouldn't play it. It's nice to feel that win but it's a terrible feeling knowing you cheated if you do cheat to get the win so I'd rather not play a game if that's what I would have to do to win. I'd suggest practicing if winning means that much.

Yes I do, to the extend that I read walkthroughs with out reading the spoilers. But only if I get stuck for an extended period of time.
I'm never searching for and using endless power codes, God modes, etc. That's what I call REAL cheating.
