Facebook have been great. People communicate, chat, share pic and the most important we can meet our old friend back.
But like all other things, there are something annoying about facebook especially the user. The thing I found annoying.
1. Different Name - Hello! Why you create FB account if you don't want people to know you
2. Private Profile - The same as above reason
3. Different profile picture other than own picture - same reason as above 2
4. Type anything on the status/wall without any meaning at all - Are you trying to commnunicate or what? If FB bores you, just quite do something else
5. People always changing his/her relation status - make up your mind please.
So what about you? What annoys you?

The will register and collect as many friends as they can so that they can have a peek into the lives of their friends but their wall will be empty, their albums empty and their contribution '0'

Peeking is fine with me as well but they should also have something that others would like to peek into! Their pages are blank. Not fair!

If we know any, we should report this person. It is not good to peek. Although I don't have anything private and nothing to hide as well, I really don't like peekers. If they browse our page because they admire us and want to look our update, then it is fine with me. but peeking so I can be gossipep, that I don't like.

I would have to say couples or friends fighting on fb. People doing illegal things, like underage drinking. Those are really stupid. On the note of people using different names, or pics. Some people make fb to communicate with people they already know, not to make new friends. I have my profile private, because I post personal stuff on there sometimes I wouldn't want just anyone to know. Have you heard in the news sometimes people post that they are going on vacation on fb and there house has been robbed. There are good reasons to keep it private. I agree with the relationship status thing, this sounds like high school. Lots of adults on fb still act in highschool this annoys me. Including especially the whole gang activity and young girls posting inappropriate pics.

I agree. I hate seeing lovers fighting in facebook. If they wanted to use facebook to worsen their relationship, they are free do that but they need to keep in mind that most of the people hate seeing that kind of immaturity. If they really can't help themselves from fighthing THRU FACEBOOK or if that is their only tool to communicate, they can just send private messages with each other. In that way, they can protect themselves from other people's criticism. They need to grow up and start handling their relationships (or let's say, their quarrels) in a mature way. Other people doesn't need to know the details of their fighting.

Another thing, it's also annoying when lovers always post on each other's wall that they love each other. I do not know what are their intentions? Do they want other people see how are they hooked-up to each other? For what? To make other people envious or something? I'm in a relationship and madly inlove with my partner however I do not flood his facebook wall just to express my love. I show my love in a different and mature ways.

I also ever had my friend fighting with his boyfriend in FB. It's like she ask another to join what they fight for and make the relationship getting worse and worse. On other side, they also too much saying love each other in FB, no no no, you dont have to show off about your boyfriend do and said, then make all people know it. It almost same with Public Display Affection. I think it's really not important.

Children on Facebook really annoys me, one of my friend create a facebook account for her 2year old kid. Parents need to be more diligent with policing their children on social media, and they should be educated on social media etiquette in school. I hate people tagging funny and not appropriate pictures.
and really annoys is writing on a Facebook Wall instead of communicating privately.

As far as this goes. My 10 year old has a fb. It's completely private, she has no pics, is only allowed to add family and she only has it for the games. Like farmville. I got tired of her begging to do mine and made her own. you can't play these without an account. As long as the child is being monitored that's what counts.

@julialaurene0206:
Facebook IS for kids (of course it's also for adults, but the majority of their users are teens + minors).
If you don't like it there, then go to LinkedIn. I've heard that it's a bit like Facebook but for adults...
Their 2 old kid can't really use Facebook, so what's the problem? Maybe they WANT their other friends to see it too....
And aren't people mostly chatting on the chat, and by commenting photos/thoughts?

julialaurene,
Why must create for our kids? It against the rules. It stated that we cannot create account for anyone other than ourselves. And for 2 year old? Rules said it must be 13 years and above. And I agree with you, sometimes why write on your wall. why don't private chat. And some people even argue or quarrel at their wall.
natnickeep,
I know sometimes we get tired when our children begging from us. But it clearly stated that only those age 13 and above can create an account.
Ramsesxlll,
Facebook IS for anyone age 13 and above. I don't see any rules stated that someone must be below 40 y.o in order to join FB.

What annoys me is some people use their walls in posting hurtful words to other users and updating their status with non sense topic every 3 to 4 hours.

I hate people fighting over facebook. They need to grow up and find the right place to fight. Facebook helps people to connect with their family, friends, people and enjoy the connections by building each other up through encouragement not bringing each other down through fights.

I only have face book with friends and family and even then, not much. For all the reasons you mention above! What to talk..call or email me but this chatting back and forth with maxi=mum spaces and little quips and comments of meaningless proportions...stupid stupid stupid and a waste of time! My daughter posted "egg wasted" last night. What does that mean? Why didn't she say what happened? Was she complaining or announcing or bragging? I know it was Easter yesterday...I assume she is talking about either her daughter finding to many eggs, them coloring to many eggs, eggs being the conversation of the day and she is tired of talking about them..only thing I KNOW FOR SURE she didn't mean is that she is sick of eating eggs as she never eats eggs, she hates eating eggs. SO....what was the point of her post? And so many do this kind of thing. I had a friend post "anyone ever heard a song about a wife hiring a wino to decorate their home?" Back in the 80's David Frizell had a hit country song called "I'm Gonna Hire a Wino, To Decorate Our Home"..about a wife that was tired of her husband bar hopping allt he time and spending all their money....so the song told how she was going to decorate their home like a bar and he and his friends can come to their bar and spend all their money and act like jerks...and at least he is home.. and she can pocket the money instead of some bar etc. I remembered the song so thinking she was asking for the lyrics, I told her what it was about and posted 2 verses. Then made a little joke comment..."why, you got one?" as I know her boyfriend does alot of "drinking out". And she comes back with "no, just heard it the other day for the first time and thought it was funny". Good grief..all my helps and it wasn't even what she asked for. I guess I could have said, "yes I've h eard it before", but if that was all she wanted to know ...what was the point!?!?!?!?!?

I know what you mean. Egg Wasted? I also don't know what that mean. Maybe it just a short form that only nowadays young people know. Who knows.
About yopur friend post, maybe you just answer "Yes I have". type less on Facebook but type more on Mylot. Pity you, for all the effort you made.

Having a name which isn't their real name, I'm glad FB doesn't allow special characters unlike friendster, weeew.
Liking their own pictures, posts, status first before someone else. Hahah! sometimes they're just the ones who "likes" their own posts. LOL!
Tagging you with just random stuff, like a picture that you don't have any idea why you are tagged. It's fine by me if I saw the posts related to business, but with just random stuff like a picture of a girl or something, bah! it's annoying.
Game Requests, Hate ittt!!! I am not playing that game so stop sending me requests! hahaha!

I also di't like people use name other than theirs. And there are also people who like to change their profile name. It make me confuse sometimes who are my friends in my friend list. In the beginning I become friend with this guy, than suddenly it change to other person.
hahaha... there are a lot of people keep liking their own post and end up being the only person liking it.
I also hate game request. Why keep request me to join? If I want, I will join it my self..

People bragging about their blessings, that they are buying a house and lot or buying a new car because God has given them a lot of blessings, like others who are not in the same situation are not blessed at all. I do not know what to say to friends who seem to be making others envy because of their fortune or success. I find them annoying and I usually answer like this: Well, share your blessings to others.

I get annoyed when people ignore me in FB or if I dont get enough attention and when people create another account that they use for lurking into your page. Thats when you set your page on private profile and they will use another account so you would add them without knowing its them.

I know it is annoying to know people lurking our page just so they can get some story to gossip us about. For me, why this kind of people even exist I also don't know. It just doesn't make sense to me.
As for me, I didn't put my profile on private. There is nothing to hide and personal. I don't use it to keep something personal because I didn't trust the security systems. So people are free to lurk on me and see all picture of me and my family. nothing else....

It really annoys me when users like his or her own posts. To me, it seems to be a "desperate" act, probably because nobody likes his/her post. It is as if the user has no friends to like his updates and posts. LOL :D Very funny but true.

Hahahaha... act of desperation. I also don't understand about liking our own post or photo. Why we need to like our own psot and photo? A I taught we already like it in the first place and that is why we post it to share with our friends. I know many of those who like to like their own post and photo.

I don't like when people put obviously incorrect information, like listing all their best friends as siblings (or, sometimes, parents. Go figure on that one.) or being married to a friend. I just find it silly.
Also, when they add thousands of people they don't know to their friends list.
