Why this person that always report discussions never leaves a comment in them?

I've seen many innocent discussions that someone made with the intention of chat with somebody about something, and some other (how many somes) inmediately tag those discussions with the tags "poll type" "reported" "guidelines violation", but never leaves a comment "hey, I've reported your discussion, ok?".
I know that is important read the guidelines and do things right, but there are some things worse than others, the discussion I've seen recently is not something bad, and I guess the admin of this site always check this kind of things when adding money or something, I am right? If the discussion is not relevant, he/she will delete it or do something.
So, is really necessary being reporting discussions that can't hurt anybody? Why you think this person never comment on these discussions? Probably he/she's afraid that we could kill him/her! LOL

It is very simple. It has to do with money. This person thinks that if he or she reports as many discussions as possible and tags them so that mylot will delete them, that the money that mylot gets from its sources will have less people getting paid and these less people including the reporter of guideline violations will get more. It is the same reason why some start a whole lot of discussions on medicore subjects. I also include those who say in effect that the subject is over, when there is more to go on. .
These fail to understand how mylot works, that it is not finances, it is the discussions.

You did not read what I meant or understood it. What it said was that the one who reports the violations or violations is afraid that the money that mylot gives to its members would be less if he or she did not report violations. To give you an example, supposed that mylot pays between x and z for each discussions of four lines. Let us say that x is the smaller amount, and z is the larger amount. Let us suppose this reporter reports 200 people, then at the end of the day, his amount on his pay page would be closer to the z amount. Get it?

The earnings from deleted posts do not go to those who report them but are equally divided among all active users. Those who are reporting earn nothing extra for doing so. They lose while reporting because they could have spent them time actively posting.

MyLot admin does not delete because of tags.
The earnings from deletions are reallocated among active users, as is explained in the FAQs here:

It's not just one person who tags these discussions. And why would you respond to a discussion that will be deleted? There's no point in that.
Besides, people who read the tags will know not to respond to the discussion and that makes sense to me.

I'm talking about why this person never says the other they have reported their discussion, I'm not talking about responding to the discussion.
And, check the discussion below mine, do you think there's something bad with it? I don't think so. Probably there is another person here who manages this kind of things.
I will report a discussion is somebody is promoting other site or there is some kind of offense or prohibited content, insults and these kind of things. But other innocent discussions can't hurt anybody. This is what I was talking about.

No-one earns for reporting.
If you consider myLot an online community then, just like any offline town, city, village or such, we should all help to keep it clean. We may not earn in monetary terms but we will all earn because thie community, myLot, will contiue as it has been for many years to come, which will benefit us all.

I guess they figure that if the discussion is in violation, why bother responding, since it will just get deleted. Of course, not everything that gets reported gets deleted, that's up to myLot Admin to decide.

I've heard (not sure if this is true) that having posts deleted reduces your earnings. Posting in a thread that's going to be deleted means your post will also be deleted, which may translate to lower earnings. (Again, not sure if this is true, but it's what I've heard.) So yeah, that could be one reason.
I don't see why he/she should post, though. I think a lot of users would get angry if he posted saying he reported someone. I see this on other sites, when someone gets yelled at for posting friendly warnings (and it's just warnings, without any reporting). Not posting would help him avoid flame wars.
One more thing... if they violate the discussion rules, they're not "innocent discussions". I don't see why it's bad for anyone to report them, since purging low-quality topics will bring up the average quality of topics on the site.

I've said "innocent discussions" because most of the times, these kind of "low-quality" discussions are mad by new people, so, instead of reporting this people, why we can't just tell him/her: "hey, there's something wrong with your discussion, read the guidelines" Is that bad doing something like this, helping the other to not doing the same mistake other times? Nobody does something like that, reporting is easier.

This happened to me before, the crazy thing is as described. You know how mylot has the worst connection and you're always getting a "bad request" well, I started a discussion and got a "bad request" so I thought that discussion didn't go through, so I made another one with the same discussion topic. What ended up happening was that I had two discussion with the same topic. Unknown to me that I started the both of them. I thought only one went through because of the "bad request" on the first discussion i tried to start. Anyway, someone reported my discussion and it was pure innocence. I understand what happened thought, but it was made to seem like I purposely started two of the same discussion and why would I do such a thing? I agree, what what you said. Either state "I reported your discussion" or don't respond at all. If i see a poll like question that normally beings with "what is" I don't respond. Nor do I take my precious time to report the topic. I just move on. Some people have nothing else to do, but pro-troll mylot like robo cops lol.

Topics, responses and comments do not have to be reported to be deleted. Admin is here daily and deletes regardless of reports.

But Guidelines recommend that we report:
"Help us out and report trolls, flame wars, and troublemakers by sending an abuse report to myLot.
Help out when you can. The myLot staff tries to monitor the site constantly, but we also need your eyes and ears to catch problems when they arise and report abusive behavior"

I always do my best to post comments to all the responses for my discussions though they are a little late because I am not very free sometimes.I think that will help me do more communicating with the mylotters and learn more.
