Saturday before Easter my wife's uncle passed away. After over 20 years in the Navy as an Avation Ordinanceman, he suffered for years with the after effects of being exposed to agent orange, chemotherapy, and amputation of both legs. His love of God was the first thing that he would share with you, an honest God-fearing man. He always kept a positive outlook and a sense of humor (His email name was "stubby").
This man was a 'real man', a true hero.
He actually married a nun!
He knew he was dying, We all did. His only request was a military funeral.
How can you not respect a man like this?
Aparently that fraud of a president that the know nothings voted for dosent. You would think that this man would be entitled to his one last wish. You see that fake American, that man who wouldnt serve his country because it wasnt fighting a war that he agreed with at the time, has cut the budget for military funerals.
Does anybody else see a problem with this?
We'll keep the well-fare brood mares at the teat of the government, but this SOB wont honor those who answered the call of their country. I know, I know, we're broke. I get it. But honestly how much can a military funeral cost? The service members get paid the same if they take a vacation day or fight in Lybia for 24 hours (BTW I wonder if obama would have fought in lybia?).
The most it could cost as far as I see it would be the price of a flag and nine blanks. But noooooo. lets make sure those welfare checks get sent to his constituancy! After all, he's going to have to run a re-election campaign soon.
So what would Uncle Dean say? If he were here and it was happening to a Navy buddy of his, he'd be complaining as much as I am. If he knew it was about him, he would probably just nod his head and sit quietly reflecting on the his actions.
I remember one thing he said to me. "I'd do it all over again, even knowing the outcome. But I did not do what I did, so that @#$%^& could stand there and hold his nuts when they say the pledge of allegiance."
Goodbye Uncle Dean. I love you, Your family loves you, and the old America loves you and thanks you for your service to her.

All proud Americans are grateful for the service that your wife's uncle and all military members provided their country. Whether Obama recognizes it or not, they are all heroes who gave of themselves to protect our freedoms. He is a hero whether they give him the honors due him or not.
